Super Tire!
After many days of reviews, and decision making, I went with this tire, both front and rear.I am super glad i did! After initial breakin, I took them to the test!back roads, dirt roads, corners and the like. They did not disapoint!I will also update my review aftyer i put some more mikes on them, but at the time, I stand fast on my decision.

Michelin is quality
You can't go wrong with a Michelin tire ( unless, like me, you get the wrong tire). I ended up with a Michelin Pilot.

Great 80/20 tire
Great shape for street riding and the funky chutes in the tread seem to actually work for dirt.2005 v-strom dl1000

Work fine on my Triumph Tiger 800
Yes there is a slight whine at a certain speed and lean angle. Not a bad sound but it is there. I wanted something more for road use than off-road. This fits the bill so far. Sticks great in the twisties and on hard stops. I have had them in rain but not hours and hours of rain yet, seem fine so far.
