EBGM05307 Perfect Match Automotive Spray Paint – General Motors Light Tarnished Silver Metallic, 67 WA994L – 8 oz. Aerosol Can

This dupli color perfect match paint is amazing, it is spot on for colormatching. Yes it's a little pricey, but come on it matches perfectly, and for little jobs like my grill surround it is great. I used it to paint the grill surround on my 2006 CTS-V and it is indeed a perfect match. I used primer and clear coat but not the perfect match brands as they are pricey and I didn't think that would matter, and it turned out great. I lightly sanded with 800 grit, wiped clean with dish soap/water mix, let dry, then did 2-3 light coats of primer, 2-3 medirum coats of color, and 3-4 medium coats of clear, all back to back without any wet sanding between and it turned out damn near perfect. I assume durability will not be as good as a real oem paint job, but it does look fantastic.

I purchases this to do some body work on my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. The Light Tarnished Silver was just a little darker than the color currently on the car. It's not noticeable from far away, but close up you can tell. It will possibly fade over time in the sun, or it could be from the primer coat below. I'm not sure. For the price, it's definitely good enough.

It match almost 98% to paint but nice.

The first time I bought it I was very happy. This time I bought two cans for close to $50 and the paint came out streaky and I sook the can for a long time, 2 cans didn’t even cover the door on my car when one worked great the first time. Now I have 3 more cans to cover the deck lid. Very disappointed.
