Works great for a very reasonable price
I am impressed with this stove for its size and low price. I use it for camping but would also make for a great item for emergency use at home or on the road. Its nice to stop in the middle of nowhere and make a cup of coffee or tea, or to heat up some food. Its light and does not take much space and the fuel canisters are handy. smaller pots pans are recommended for stability! I use this stove to boil water and heat soup using a JetBoil 1.5 liter pan with the flux ring. It boiled water very quickly. It works well with the flux ring pan (older model) by sliding the stove arms up into the gaps of the flux ring. You want to wiggle it on so you have a good tight friction fit that results in a very stable set up. I can pick up the the stove and pan together by holding the canister and pouring the water into what ever vessel I need it in with ease!! Not sure if this is recommended practice but it seemed to work, I had some fear the pan would drop off and spill boiling water everywhere but so far so good.

Classic design and very usable.
Okay - so I used this as a sacrificial unit to retrofit new cans onto and old CampingGaz stove. That worked great. But before doing that retrofit, I tested this stove intact. It lit easily and quickly with the pezio; it burned strongly and solidly, and it was adjustable down to a light simmer. The windscreen, pot platform was fine, segmenting the burner so that the wind would only blow out a portion of flame at a time. And the pot holder has slightly serrated edge to presumably grip the pot. I'd have been happy to use this just as it was. For that I would recommend. As I loved some of the features of my CampingGaz stove (smaller burner, built-in round windscreen and a more stable platform to hold the pot) I did the retrofit. The new canisters (every manufacturers is using these) screw very easily into the new-style receivers. They unscrew easily and seal up tight to help break things down if needed for carrying. Coleman bought CampingGaz and I think may be phasing much of those older designs. I noticed the guts of this was nearly identical to my rather old stove with a couple differences. The burner is larger. The manifold to burner connection (which used to be screwed together) is now clipped in with a retainer. Not sure why, but perhaps this lets them use the part for more products. Anyway, if you can get this cheap it is worth it to have. Probably could serve as your primary camping or patio burner. Could be a back up or bug out option. Would perform fine for post-apocalyptic needs, I'd imagine.

Easy to pack or hang on your bag, easy to light, stable to cook on, lightweight and good quality. Great for the price.

My third one of these
This is the simplest, most reliable and easy to manage stove I've ever owned. It's not the lightest. There's no built-in ignition. There's really nothing to go wrong. The adjustment knob is extremely good. On cheaper stoves, the flame can go from "butane lighter" to "inferno of death" with just a fraction of a turn. The adjustment on this stove is very smooth consistent. I've made coffee countless times with this model. I've made hot chocolate for the kids. I've prepared freeze dried food. I'm totally sold on it and I don't really care if there are lighter stoves available. So, why is this my third? I gave one to my son for hurricane season. I have one in my backpack ready to go to the woods. And I bought the last one as a backup because I'm deathly afraid that it may be discontinued at some point. It'll stay in the box until it's needed.

A Coleman Miss
I love Coleman products but this one needs work. The heating element itself is great, no issues. My problem was with the plastic being used in the body of the stove. Most of the time it isn't a problem if your heating something up that is on the narrower side on top. But if it's a wider pan or pot, it could reflect heat enough where the plastic starts melting, which is what happened to me. Also, the arms that the slide out that the pan sits on, are not very stable. There's some play in them and they don't lock in place. so while you're cooking, they tend to slide around and add to the instability. Finally, no built in igniter. I have a mini coleman lantern that uses the same form factor as this stove that I imported from Japan, and it has a nice large igniter button built in. I mainly use this stove as a backup. There's so many other small stoves out there that will work better for the same price. Hopefully, Coleman can come out with a better model. My go to stove is the Campingmoon XD-2F.

Great little camp stove
Great little camp stove. Burns hot and folds up really small. I got an adapter so can use with the bigger Coleman propane bottles and works great.

Okay but not great
I really like the design of the stand. It's easy to attach it to a canister. The stands can accommodate a smallist pot but take into consideration that the diameter of the burner is larger than some stoves. It did struggle in windy weather so a windscreen would be essential. Not as strong a flame as other similarly priced stoves.
