Kelty Bestie Blanket Indoor Outdoor Insulated Camping Throw + Picnic Ground Sheet, Designed in Colorado,Trellis

My new couch blanket me & my pretty lil kitty fwend have been wrapping up in and cuddlin’,snugglin’, and huggin’ whilst being comfy and all warmies lounging on the couch and drifting off to sleep. But woke this morn in a puddle of the chocolate bar i fell asleep into, and the blanket! But it wiped away well still melty on the slicker side-luckily for me. Bout to throw it in the wash and see how that goes so will finish this by sharing how the washability is/went! Washed and cleaned well. Chocolate be gone. Blanket still looks new. Perfect size too but am height restricted at 5’6” and have been this way my whole life and don’t think i’l get a growth spurt.

I have both the BESTIE and BIGGIE blankets. The Bestie is sized right for one person. Not too much blanket but just right. Both blankets have a soft airy side and a slick wind block side. The insulation is the same thickness in each and impressively warm and light. The weight and warmth of this synthetic insulation resembles down. Stitching looks just fine. Very light and warm plus washable.

I love this camp blanket. I have 3 dogs and sleep in a station wagon. I wanted a blanket that I could put over me when I'm on the sleeping pad that was warm, soft and flannel like on one side but nylon or polyester on the other side so I can easily wipe off dirt or pebbles the dogs may bring in on their feet even after wiping them. I really wanted the sunshine color but can't find it anywhere. I chose the orange toned one and it is also really cute. This is warm and cozy and I can wrap it around me when I sit on a camp chair. When I brought blankets and sheets from my own bed on my trips, they were queen size (way too big) and cotton so they absorbed all the dirt stains and were impossible to clean.

Great product! This is my second blanket from Kelty, I keep one in my car and I try to take this one with me on trips as well but it ends up being a lap blanket at home as well. The size is perfect for a throw on the couch, at the beach, in front of a campfire, wherever your adventures may take you. The warmth and weight of the blanket are excellent due to it being built similar to a sleeping bag with a light weight nylon on top (printed side) and brushed cotton on the bottom (solid color side). The softness of the bottom is perfect for me, my wife complained about our other one but didn't have the same complaints for this one so your mileage may vary. But I think its soft enough without it feeling thin or flimsy. This blanket isn't small but its not giant, it's about the size of a toddler blanket across but it is 6feet(1.82m) tall so be aware when buying this blanket it's good for for laying across the waist for maximum leg coverage but if you want body coverage your feet are going to be sticking out for sure. This blanket packs down pretty small but not terribly small, if you have a 32oz water bottle then this packs down to about that size but much lighter. I got this on sale for a smoking deal that I couldn't pass up, I would of bought it without the sale as well but when it did go on sale I had to pull the trigger. I highly recommend this blanket for someone looking for a good outdoor blanket or a good car blanket to keep in your vehicle for your significant other or kids.

Love this mat! I bought this for use as a home exercise mat to layer on a thick, but dog-hair covered rug. I'm tall, so the length was important to me, and it needed to be lightweight, easily packable and soft. It's all those things, and the price was right, too... just what I wanted, although no matter how quiet I am, my Golden Retriever seems to know I'm on _his_ rug, and he does try to cuddle me when I'm looking for any excuse not to do my sit-ups. Can't blame the manufacturer for that, though! :)

The size is perfect for one of our single camper van beds. A very interesting, creative design for what look like trees and I'm hoping when I do get to use this on a cooler night out on the road soon, that it will be just right to keep us warm. I wrapped it around my body against my skin and it felt really nice and soft, no itchy feeling at all. If I were a kid again, I'd probably drag this blanket around like Linus from Peanuts.

There are so many camp blankets to choose from. Of the many options out there, this is one of the least expensive and least "technical." I'm happy with this purchase, but I went in with reasonable expectations. Let's break down what sets this blanket apart from others; Print- I couldn't help but purchase both the Aspen and the Woodgrain versions of this blanket. Both are beautiful. Though I think it's important to note that the Woodgrain blanket (The color is listed as "Trellis") has a strong green tinge in person that I found disappointing. Based on the photo, I was expecting a rich brown. Fabric- Most camping blankets have a slick "sleeping bag material" on both sides. That sleeping bag material is good for water and stain resistance. But it is initially cold to the touch and slick. Many people don't think it feels cozy and don't like that it slides around/doesn't stay in place. The bestie bag has one side that is sleeping bag material, while the other is a cozier jersey material. While it is cozier, it comes with cons, as it will hold onto dirt and moisture. Not ideal for camping. Lack of versatility- The majority of camping blankets that I had considered came with snaps or some sort of fastener that converts the blanket into a poncho. The bestie blanket does not. I spent 4 dollars and a a bit of time sewing snaps on the blankets I bought. Well worth it. Fill- Camping blankets are filled with either goose down or polyfill. Down is the more technical option as it is lighter, warmer and packs down smaller. It is also significantly more expensive, difficult to wash, breaks down eventually, and is a controversial industry (some down is painfully plucked from live geese). The Bestie blanket is filled with poly; a cheap, simple option. Again, this blanket lacks the technicality that a backpacker would look for, but I think it's fine for car-campers. Dimension- This blanket offers unique dimensions compared to most other camping blankets. It's longer and more narrow than a standard throw. I've found that the size is ideal if you want to put it on the ground and have a single person lay on it. It's also great to wrap around yourself (poncho style!) and hang out by the fire without concern of it dragging on the ground. It's awkwardly narrow to use as a picnic blanket. But I sewed the snaps on in such a way to allow my two blankets to be snapped together, creating an ideal-sized picnic blanket. Price- As mentioned, these are on the low end of the spectrum price-wise. For a poly-filled blanket (such as this) you can expect to pay roughly $30-50. Down filled blankets run closer to $50-80. My only issue with the price is that this Amazon listing has been fluctuating between Kelty's MSRP of $25 to an inflated price of $30. A tip- Kelty offers free shipping for purchases of $50+. So if Amazon is charging more than $25, you may want to buy from Kelty directly. Yes, you do get what you pay for. This is not the warmest. It doesn't pack down the smallest or weigh the least. It doesn't come with snaps or ties to convert it to a poncho. But it comes in great prints, is easily laundered and is the perfect blanket to throw in your car for impromptu star-gazing.

It weighs nothing but it's toasty warm - wrapping this around my shoulders is like wearing an electric blanket, you can actually feel it warm up as it starts to reflect your body heat.. In cold weather, I pair it with a weighted throw blanket. I don't like anything heavy on my feet so the weighted throw covers me, shoulders to knees and the Bestie covers me, knees to toes. I turn down the thermostat and stay warm all night! I have the Trellis Bestie - it's a woodgrain pattern superimposed over muted plaid. The colors in the plaid are hard to describe; depending on light conditions - olive-green and copper or maybe blue-green and dark gold? I haven't seen a photo that accurately depicts the colors, including the two pictures I posted with this review. The color scheme isn't what I expected, but it's grown on me.

Great blanket to bring with you to outdoor events, in the car for traveling or in a sleigh/stroller in the winter. Nice and compact. Quite warm.

Had this for a while now is a good summer blanket easy to wash and washes well also hardwaring many uses indoors and outdoors light surprisingly warm if you are 6ft ish and over then the the length may be a bit short for full coverage also doesn't slide of you easy because of the nice inner
