Wearing this daily as a 40yr old. Great protection from the sun.
Just purchased my second bottle of this sunscreen. Just turning 40, I recently got on the ball about taking care of my skin = applying sunscreen daily. I previously purchased this as a sunscreen for pool days and days out with the kiddos. Now, I use it daily as the last step of my morning skincare routine. As a 40 yr old with sensitive, combination skin, this product does not irritate or cause dryness. Pros: • No white cast • No scent/very faint scent (sometimes I think I smell it, sometimes I don’t) • Very hydrating.. so much so, that I often skip moisturizer before applying primer & makeup. I appreciate the added hydration for my dryer areas (like under the eyes) • Blends in beautifully with my tinted moisturizer/foundation • High SPF. Great sun protection Cons: • Looks/feels greasy (in my opinion) if worn alone I used to hate wearing sunscreen daily, but this one works great with my skin type and blends my makeup well. Now I never skip this step while getting ready for the day.

LOVE IT, DO IT, THANK ME & BONDI LATER!
I've been a lifeguard for years, am a sunshine lover & also believe in high quality skin care & protection. I've tried every face sunscreen on the market- even the expensive GOOP products & high end brands, over the counter drug store brands. Believe me when I say... THIS IS THE BEST FACIAL SUNSCREEN I'VE EVER USED. It's virtually no fragrance, smooth without being greasy, no burning around the eyes, not break outs because of the heaviness. It's a weird thing to say but to put it on over my moisturizer & even with make up routine, you can't 'feel' it's there, it's so light. I'm pretty sensitive to sunscreens on my face & sometimes I think the scented stuff makes that irritation. but for a fraction of the price of the face sunscreens I've been using- this girl is the winner- no comparison superior product. I'm a Bondi girl now.

Not for me (i have sensitive skin) but great moisturizer sunscreen
I LOVED the way this sunscreen felt in my face. It had enough moisturizer and hydration to use after my serums by itself. It felt like a cloud on my face when i put it on. It was great. Did not burned as other chemical sunscreen do on my face, and it was glowy not greasy, and did not burn my eyes either. It took a while to dry up though, felt sticky for a while. I wore it without make up on top that day. BUT after i took it off during my nighttime routine I had irritation and i broke out into pimples. and i had to treat my skin barrier that night. My face was red and just had red bumps like pimples. i tried it a week later again to see if maybe it was my serums interacting with it. so that day i only washed my face and then put the sunscreen on and again it was great when you put it on BUT throughout the day i could see my face getting red patches and again the pimples started showing up even my neck started breaking out. so NOW i use it for my arms and that works. But i wont be re-purchasing. I have dry sensitive skin, usually all chemical sunscreen irritates my face (unless they are Asian sunscreens)

Greasy, but works
UPDATE: This has become my go to sunscreen even a few years later. I use a tinted mineral sunscreen on top (when going out or doing makeup) and it helps a lot. The mineral sunscreen was too drying and showing my wrinkles. Just a bit of this underneath really makes my skin glow and no cakiness from the mineral sunscreen. Plus, I love that it doesn't sting my eyes at all. If I am just at home, this is all I use. I don't like that the price went from $5.99 to around $12.00 though. I have combo skin, but use trentinoin, so my skin gets drier. I was loving Australian Gold tinted mineral sunblock for years, but now that I am older it was starting to settle into my lines, wrinkles, and dry patches. So, I found this sunblock to use after my Cerave cream and before my beloved Australian Gold. It really helps to hydrate my skim so the mineral sunscreen doesn't sit in my lines. HOWEVER, If I only use this Bondi Sands sunscreen w/o the mineral sunblock on top I look like a frying pan after bacon was cooked in it. My hair will stick to my face all day, too. It NEVER dries down. Because of this, I can't use it to reapply over my makeup either. (I use Coola for that, but it's soooo expensive.) Even with powder, I am a greasy mess. If you have oily skin STAY FAR AWAY. It should be POC friendly w/ no white cast. The price is great, but I don't know if I would re-order b/c of the greasiness. It stings my eyes a bit when I over apply there, but so does every other non-mineral sunscreen on me. I'm still on the hunt for a chemical sunscreen that won't leave me greasy or sting my eyes.

New Favorite!
I have always looked for a sunscreen that was moisturizing but also didn’t pill, especially around the outline of my eyebrows and face. I’ve tried a couple here and there, even really expensive ones like La Roche-Posay. Any of their sunscreens just were NOT doing it for me. I also don’t think a sunscreen should be $31 anyways. I’ve tried CeraVe’s ultra light sunscreen SPF 30 and I liked that for a bit but I feel like it still pilled around the outer parts of my face. Then for the longest time, I was using Black Girl Sunscreen Kids Sunscreen SPF 50 for body and face and I really liked that. Cheap, effective, didn’t leave a white cast, and is worth looking into. Something I would continue repurchasing if I see it. I tried the Eucerin Age Defense + Hyaluronic Acid 50 SPF and while I did love how that dried down, it was more of a satin-y finish, I don’t know how well my skin responded to it. It could have been a mixture of other skincare products I was using before and have stopped, so I really only use that on my hands. I follow Dr. Dray and Abbey Yung (love them) on YouTube and both have tested the Bondi Sands Sunscreen out and had very good feedback for it. I decided to buy it off Amazon because I couldn’t find it anywhere local (I don’t think it’s sold locally in the US because it’s an Australian brand) but I figured why not. I got their fragrance free face and body sunscreen too and it is VERY moisturizing! Felt like I was putting on a body lotion. I personally love that feeling. I think once the face sunscreen dries down a bit, it gives a beautifully glowy finish. I know not everyone loves that kind of look, but I have dry and sensitive skin and have dealt with pilling with a lot of sunscreens and I’ve had NO issues with this sunscreen. When I got it, it must have been on sale because the face sunscreen was $6.99 and that’s why I bought it, but I definitely would continue to buy it at $12.99. I’ve used Bondi Sands tanning products before so I figured their skincare/sunscreen should be good too. I was not wrong! I’ve had NO irritation, sensitivity, burning issues, no white cast at all using their sunscreens. 10/10 recommend. I do plan on wearing makeup for the first time after using this sunscreen so we will see how it holds up but I have a feeling it will be great. Definitely worth a try :)

Bondi and Sands: Could be great for dry skin.
I recently tried Bondi Sands Sunscreen with high hopes for a sun protection solution that would keep my skin safe from the harsh sun rays. While I had heard great things about this product, I quickly realized that it might not be the perfect match for my skin type. Here's my experience. Initial Expectations: When I first got my hands on Bondi Sands Sunscreen, I was excited about the prospect of a reliable sunscreen that also claimed to offer a natural, beachy glow. Greasy and Oily Sensation: However, as soon as I applied the sunscreen, I noticed that my skin took on a greasy and oily appearance. The consistency of the sunscreen seemed to be a bit heavy for my skin type, and it left a noticeable residue. My initial impression was that it might not be the right product for me. The Dry Skin Revelation: After a bit of research and experimentation, I realized that Bondi Sands Sunscreen might be better suited for individuals with dry skin. The Silver Lining: While this sunscreen wasn't a perfect fit for my normal skin, it did have some redeeming qualities. The SPF protection it offered was undeniably effective, and I could trust that my skin was shielded from the sun's harmful rays. Additionally, the sunscreen's beachy scent was delightful and evoked a feeling of a day at the shore. In conclusion, Bondi Sands Sunscreen may not be suitable for all skin types. While it provided ample protection from the sun's UV rays, it left my skin looking greasy and oily, making it more appropriate for those with dry skin who can benefit from the added hydration. If you have dry skin, you may find this sunscreen to be a perfect match. However, if you have normal or oily skin, you might want to explore other options to find a sunscreen that suits your specific needs and preferences. It's essential to understand your skin type and choose skincare products accordingly to achieve the best results.

New favorite facial sunscreen!
I truly hated the challenge of finding the right sunscreen, but I finally found it. When I initially applied it *liberally* all over my face I was so disappointed because I was a shiny mess even after rubbing it in all of the way. No white cast. Just shiny. I have learned from experience though that you have to give a product time to absorb and dry down - and it did! The shiny greaseball was gone! I couldn't have been happier. It had a faint glow, but it wasn't shiny. I truly hate being shiny! I wore it out in the sun today, and even reapplied it while out and about, and I still wasn't a shiny greaseball! Or burnt. I wasn't burnt either which is clearly the entire point of sunscreen. But I also wasn't shiny!! ** Important note ** I always put my face sunscreen on right after washing my face. Wash. Pat dry. Sunscreen. No other moisturizers or serums or anything, or else layering products will guarantee a shine for me. This sunscreen is so moisturizing that I don't have to worry about not applying moisturizer and I love that! If you're having issues with sunscreen not absorbing well and feeling shiny - whatever sunscreen you might be using - I highly recommend applying that first layer of sunscreen immediately after washing and drying your face. Fresh, clean skin will absorb any product much more effectively.
