Stride Rite Soft Motion Baby and Toddler Girls Constance Fashion Boot

went to stride rite store and they measured my daughters foot. she is exactly 5.5 and wears size 6xw. i was hesitant purchasing without trying on because of her wide feet and cankles 😉 but i bought these in size 6w and they fit perfectly with an average thickness sock with room to grow. the velcro straps allow for the boots to open wide enough for our chubby little feet! they are exactly as pictured! super cute we always get compliments!

These are very cute and look exactly like the photo provided, but where exactly is the side zipper? The product description at the time of this purchase said there was a "side zipper for easy on/ off". I had even double-checked on the Stride Rite website and it said the same thing.Other than that, these fit as expected, look like they will last all winter and the faux fur lining around the ankle area is very soft and cozy.

UPDATE: After over 3 months of heavy use, these boots are still in great shape!These boots are fantastic! They are cute, comfortable, and easy to get on and off. We bought size 6 and they seem to fit slightly smaller (in length) than my daughter's other size 6 shoes and boots. But probably not small enough that I'd order a size up, unless your kid was getting close to outgrowing a size. True to Stride Rite's excellent reputation, they are made of quality materials, have a very flexible sole, and seem like they will hold up very well. We are very pleased with this purchase!

I bought this pair for my baby and she seems to like it. She is just learning to walk and these shoes seem to help her to stay on her feet and not fall as she makes her first steps. The only challenge is to prevent her from taking them off - since they are on velcro babies figure out pretty quickly how to pull the shoes off. Also, I thought that the shoes would be lined with fur inside too, but it is only for the looks around the edges. They are ok though for the cool November weather in Boston. Overall, I like them and my babe seems to like them too! Oh, and she's received compliments on them several times!

These are not snow shoes. They are not even that warm. They are good shoes just not for winter. Maybe winter in Puerto Rico.Also these are not boy shoes unless you're the mother of Elton John. They are really sparkly. They look much warmer in the photos. I'm returning.

Love these... super cute. You can't tell in the picture but they have a bit of a glittery sparkle to them. They are great for a beginning walker. I gave them a four because they stay on better than many of our boots, but our one year old can get them off if she tries. They fit perfectly but I'm afraid they won't fit for very long which makes me feel bad for spending this amount of $.

I love the Soft Motion technology! It gives flexible movement for new walkers. My toddler can feel the ground better as she develops her stride. I also love that the sole is rubber protecting against stepping in outdoor wetness without being a full rain boot.She got pen and other marks on them and surface washed it no problem.These have a thin memory foam cushion that do provide some added comfort, but it is pretty thin so the child can feel the ground a bit still.

I am giving 4 stars only because it is a more metallic gold color than tan. They are very cute, but fall off my little ones feet a lot. I have not had this problem with other shoes. Nice construction and sole.

Excellent little boot for the fall and winter before the heavy snow. My LO is beginning to walk and it's the perfect shoe that gives the right support. Not bulky.
