Works well, looks good
This purple clay gaiwan arrived in perfect condition. I’ve used it 10+ times and it works very well. Hasn’t cracked, but I am careful to not suddenly switch from boiling water to cold sink water like with any delicate ceramics.

Simple, Great Design, Recommend
The shape of the vessel is what I LOVE about it's design. The outer texture ensures a good grip, the wider flared rim is better to rest on fingers for pouring. Bowl shape for fast and easy cleaning.

Since it’s Yixing clay, it’s better to use it for one type of tea
Small and authentic Gaiwan, don’t be fooled by the low price- it’s a very nice one. You can tell by how not very hot ages are when you pour tea from it. Clay absorbs tea that you brew in it. So it's better to use Gaiwan for the same type of tea. Over the years, your Gaiwan will produce unique tea notes.
