Fender Mustang Micro Headphone Amplifier, with 2-Year Warranty

I am a 36 year old father that loves to just play some bass in the small amount of downtime that I have, and have been looking for a headphone amp that I can plug into my iPad for Yousician and play with headphones. Holy crap this thing has delivered on that plus more. You literally just plug this into your guitar/bass, plug in headphones, plug in a usb cable to your ipad, phone, computer, whatever and you are done. Just make sure the input device is selected as Fender Mustang, then pair the Fender Mustang to the device via bluetooth so you have audio coming back through to your headphones, and you are done. 2 cables, no more spaghetti mess of cables to go from your PC, to audio interface, to amp, etc. And to top everything off, it sounds great going through different cabs for bass. Adding effects makes it even better, I play a MM Stingray and being able to easily adjust through different models and effects easily to find the tone I usually like was so easy. Price for this is incredible for what it can do. Oh man! Where to start? I’m new to playing, and I wasn’t sure if this headphone amp would be too complicated for me! I’m glad to report it isn’t! It is very user friendly, and has so many extra features! I absolutely love it for when I’m wanting to practice silently so I don’t bother any of my housemates! The guitar sounds great through the headphones, and I can even record what I play to the computer, and use the Bluetooth feature to play along with other music online. It’s a winner for me!

40+ years of playing & been through many fx units in my day. Gotta say this unit is really impressive! For starters the size & portability is amazing. You'd think it can't be that great for that alone but don't be fooled. The stereo effects are very good with lots of options. Granted you can't dial in everything to your exact liking, but with the many presets & adjustments you can make, it's very usable. You can pipe in backing tracks via Bluetooth to play along and mix the guitar with the music easily. Very inspiring for a quick practice without all the fuss and restrictions of a full rig. Plug in headphones and play anywhere and walk around or stroll in the park. I bought a mini strat to accompany it so I can play on road trips from the passenger seat without my headstock in the drivers face. You can also plug it into your recording console or amps. Some challenges with it are as follows. The 3.5mm plug sticks out and is vulnerable to being broken if you happen to hit it. The fx buttons on the side are a bit awkward to access while plugged into the guitar. There's no presets so getting from one fx to another is a manual process. If you had a small male to female guitar cord you could velcro it onto the face or edge of the guitar to protect the cable & access the buttons better. I'm hoping Fender improves upon the design for future models, but for what it is, it's fabulous!
