Not sure, but it worked great for me.

How do you use on twist

I only use this product to add moisture and shine. I apply woc 1st then I apply Aunt Jackie curl gel and then a sponge. I don't use for twists. Hope this helps.

Will this product curl African American males hair

If you are thinking of making waves like many African American males do with a brush and pomade like Royal Crown, it won't do that. It will however moisturize and soften your hair and make your natural wave pattern more evident. Hopefully, this answers your question.
