Installation into chicken coop was relatively easy and painless. The vents are working perfectly a year on.

Appears to be a good product and it should work well.

My Big Foot trailer came with a Dometic hot-water heater. However the panel which covers the hot-water heater on the exterior of the trailer only had one intake/exhaust vent. At high altitude, 6500 feet, the water heater would shut off unless I left the cover open, it was starved for air. Installing this stainless vent solved the problem.

I used a 4” wafer LED light as a sconce in a stairwell. It was too bright and was blinding as I come down the stairs, so I used this product with some modification to act as a directional cover. Now the light shines down and not up. I couldn’t find any product like what I wanted so this was the best. Had to separate the two main piece of the thing to give me just the louvered plate. Then I used a bench grinder to remove the lip around the flange to make the front plate into a flat disc. Screw it to the led wafer. My only complaint would be that the scre holes are not aligned. But you can’t really see that when the light is on, and when the light is off it’s too dark to see

Installed one up high and one down low on opposite side walls in my deer stand (used bead of silicone around the hole and secured with screws). Deer stand has been out in the elements since mid Oct. 2021. Check deer stand out Aug. 9, 2022, screens on the vents are holding up and no signs of moisture from rain or snow inside. Will purchase more for future deer stand or storage shed projects.

Everything seems to be covered in the advert. The metal is a bit thin, but it should be ok once fixed and sealed to a wall.

I ordered two of these vents and they both arrived damaged. The grills are bent, which may have happened when the delivery driver aggressively dropped them down on my doorstep. But one of them has a crimped edge that would likely happen during their manufacturing. Both had to be returned, which is pretty disappointing.

I like the vent screen, I use it on my intake and exhaust for my HRV/ERV vents in my home to keep the critters out of the filter. We've had an unusually high heat summer and it's drawn out the bugs...a LOT of them and all the ports that provide fresh air and exhaust into our home are great little heat escape areas. In order to reduce the ingress of these little critters into my home I installed these vents. NOTE-double check the pipe size ID chart they provide, for example I have a 3" intake/exhaust PVC type pipe and one would think to order that size vent no? NOPE, not the vendors fault you actually order a 4" vent as it has the id size required to fit INSIDE the opening or the female side. I think the first image should be of the size chart, it's an easy mistake to make but I wanted to put that out there here on the reviews. Overall quality is pretty good, stainless steel yes, screen sizing is perfect for the application. NOTE again for your ERV/HRV intake port, don't get too small of mesh size as it can clog with ice or debris in cooler climates, if your house can't breathe, your system will fail.
