Feline Care Nutrition Digestive Care Adult Loaf in Sauce Cat Food, 5.1 oz (Pack of 24)

It’s too expensive but it is what it is. But my three cats absolutely love this food. My old 16 year old cat had smelly diarrhea for months. I read it could be IBS and to try this food. His diarrhea is totally gone after being on it for a week. I was worried my old cat wouldnt like it but all three cats fight over it even though it’s only for my one cat. I got the dry for them all to eat because I free feed them dry food. If you cat has chronic diarrhea it’s worth a try before going through all the bloodwork and testing at the vet.

My cat is 8 yrs old, always been a puker. No known reason. Since I've been feeding him Royal Canin Digest regularly on its own (about 6 months now)-NO VOMITING!! I was gonna say it costs too much. But can I really put a price on this? Owen thanks you. I thank you too : )

Started buying this food four years ago and it was 24 x 5.8 oz cans for $42.00, but now it’s 24 x 5.1 oz cans for $72.00. While this is really good food, Royal Canes has become to greedy. They’ve reduced the contents by 7oz per can and raised the price by $30.00 dollars.

This seems to be a decent food for my elderly cats, both of whom have digestive issues. I can't really see any difference in them on this or I/D, I just want to do what's best for them. Although they generally seem to like it better than I/D, one of them seems to be getting tired of it. This isn't the end of the world considering the new tiny size of the "large" cans. Cats need a certain amount of food; making the can smaller and hoping we don't notice really isn't practical. My cats are the same size as they were last month. If you also feed dry, you may not mind. Since dry food can be pretty tough on cats' digestive systems when they have inflammatory bowel, I would have preferred the cans stay the same size. Edited to add: Royal Canin offers to types of this food, and their titles are confusing. This is "loaf in sauce" which is a pate and has no discernible sauce whatsoever. While this is a poor description, if you receive pate it does NOT mean it is counterfeit. I sympathize with those who have received bad batches; I have not. As of 8/6/2021 Amazon is listing this food as unavailable. As much as the shrinking of the cans frustrates me, I do wish they would stock this food again.

All our animals love Royal Canine, and comes highly recommended by our vets. Problem I keep having is my order for this food gets lost, coming from the warehouse that’s literally 12 miles from my home. How can this happen 3 times at least. Very hungry kitties.

Nice texture. Smell tolerable. Cat loved it...until he didn't.
