This is a wonderful decaf. When intelligentsia discontinued the decaf el mago I desperately needed another Swiss water decaf coffee that wasn't acidic or bitter ,and had no odd kaftertaste like lime or pineapple. This is the first coffee I've found that hits all 3 requirements. It smells and tastes faintly of honey ,which is delicious, and luckily for me it is not too acidic . I can drink it pure or mix it with my milder low acid beans for a decent cup of coffee.

All time favorite coffee and coffee bean company. Hard to find decaf beans outside of the verve coffee shops which we don't have here in Orlando.

Brewed 21g coffee (medium grind) in 240g water at 210 degrees in Aeropress, upside-down . Expiration date was six weeks away. First, the beans looked very dry, and the coffee did not smell fresh. Could have been my method, but when brewed it was flavorless and unpleasant. Understandably, it's not eligible for return. Glad others have had better luck, but I was disappointed, especially at this price. Always in search of a good decaf, which seems notoriously tricky to produce and sell, but I didn't find this to be it.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but it has a really off, sour smell and taste to it. I'm willing to update if this was a fluke, but if it isn't, then I would recommend getting something else

i haven't really found any decaf bean i have hated so far but this spoiled me so much on the first sip. possibly the most enjoyable brew i have had; light, sweet and crisp as described by the flavor notes on the package, this definitely got me more into doing more pour overs in the evening.

I’ve tried decaf coffees and they really hurt my stomach. I Chose to give up coffee because I can’t have the caffeine any longer! I’ve been drinking coffee since I was three! So I started looking into why that happened and I know now it’s because of the way it’s processed. I Love this decaf, coffee!

Being from the PNW, I wanted to like these beans, but they blend and roasting is just not good enough for use in an espresso machine. It works fine for a drip or 2 minute steep in an Aeropress, but is just bitter and oily as an espresso drink. Even a cortado comes out bitter. Add in the cost and that the oily beans get stuck in the hopper and it just isn't a good value and I won't be buying them again.

Expensive but good:-)
