It has been great. Easy to start any gas powered car with a dead battery. It holds a charge a long time. When it has not been used, I only charge it twice a year. (it doesn't really need it, once a year would probably be fine.) Cheaper than a service call and faster then calling a friend. Also a good battery backup when electricity goes out.

After plenty of research, I settled on this particular car battery jumper, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the quality construction and solid feel of this jumper. It has a rugged, heavy-duty vibe that inspires confidence in its ability to handle tough jump-starting jobs. The hardshell carrying case is well-designed and it looks nice too. But the real test, of course, is in its performance - and this jumper delivers in spades. I've used it multiple times to revive dead batteries in various vehicles, from compact cars to pickups. UPDATE 09-Sept-2025: I still can't give more than four star on this particular model (previously 1 star), but the seller, who deals directly with the factory (I suspect they're basically the marketing for this brand in the US), deserves 5 stars. Not only did I get a refund, they sent me a free one that is a different, older model that they said has been extremely reliable as a thank you for my time in helping them diagnose an issue with a different model. The one they sent is a different brand (S ZEVZO, model ET 03), but I bet it's really the same manufacture. I like that one because it shows the voltage and current it's charging at. Maybe take a look at that one. As for my ORIGINAL review, here it is: Three strikes and they're out. I really wanted to like this product, but I can't even make myself like the brand. Allow me to explain my experience... Last Christmas I bough one of the DB Power model DJS90 jump starters (the red, 3000A unit) for my daughter since she was away at college and I wanted her to have a jump starter in an emergency. It charged up fine and seemed fine, but we had no dead battery to test it on. Now I'm concerned that if she needs it, it will fail. Why? Well, fast-forward to this summer, when I decided to buy another DJS90 for myself. It arrived NOT in its box, just it's carrying case, and it was clearly used and returned. Maybe that's the seller's fault, but I wasn't about to trust something someone else returned. Amazon shipped me another, but... Though that replacement unit was new, and shrink-wrapped, it would not charge. In fact, it made my charger, and the plug, very warm. And the level never increased. So, back it went. Now it's late August and there was a good sale on the Z07 model (yellow, 5000A). It arrived with a 75% charge, which isn't unusual because it's safer to ship Li-Ion batteries when not fully charged. So, of course I put it on a charger. (A 30W Anker charger.) Within a couple hours it hit 95%, but would not go above that, and when I disconnected the charger, the level rapidly dropped to below the initial 75%. For the heck of it I then tried my 60W laptop charger, but encountered the same result. Yet another DBPower jump starter to return. I absolutely cannot recommend this brand. Like I said, the original DSJ90 bought last Christmas did charge fine, but is it trustworthy? What I do know is that a NOCO jump starter I bought for my wife several years ago works great, and it has been used to jump a completely dead battery. I'm done playing games with DBPower. I'm going to get another NOCO for myself. I'm posting this same review for the DSJ90 and the Z07 models, but the Z07 model (yellow, 500A) review will include a video.

I bought this 8 years ago and am finally writing a review because I felt compelled to after it came in the clutch for me yet again. This thing is awesome. If you drive old cars, or maybe have a 2nd or 3rd car that you don't take out for a spin as much as you ought to, or if you just want the peace of mind that you won't get stranded somewhere in the cold, you need this. It says to wait for it to be 30% charged before using, but I just jumped my car today at 20% charged. Saved me a huge headache as I needed to get it off the street in a timely fashion. It's super easy to use, can charge other devices, has a flashlight. It will drain over time if you don't charge it, so be sure to do so every so often.

I bought these X 5 for Christmas gifts. And had to use one to jump my own car from work in the wee hours of the morning while it was still dark outside. This 68 told found instructions pretty easy. And it gets 5 starts as I was able to jump start my car You just have to keep it charged to ensure there is enough power to self start

Works great' small and light

Let it charge to full before first use and this thing has my battery with enough charge to jump before I can even get around to turn it over. New battery should be here today but this thing is a life saver. No issues so far and had it a few weeks now. Hopefully one last charge before it’ll be on the bench as a safety jump pack.

I bought the DBPower 600A 1800mAh Portable Car Jumper (Red/Black). I think this unit is great. I jumped 2 SUV's and the charge only dropped a few percentage points. The latest and the one I can remember best, was an F150 that I helped jump. I had 100% capacity starting and 98% after the jump. It's so much easier than connecting two car batteries with jumper cables, plus the unit in total (with its really nice case) is so much easier to store than the jumper cables. Helps to keep a nice and organized trunk. Anyway, I liked this DBPower so much I wanted to see how anyone could give it a really bad review. I read a several 1* reviews and it seems the issue is that a lot of people couldn't jump their car after "leaving jumper in car for months and then needing it for an emergency jump and sensor read 100%", this seems to be the common issue for the low rating. This is an unfair bashing of an otherwise outstanding product. I have 2 portable Jumpers. One is the DB Power and then another, I can't remember the brand name (actually too lazy to look it up). Both works well but either this or the other one had instructions, which I read. Based on those instructions, it's recommended that you charge these units about once every month to ensure full charge. I believe at 50% it's pretty weak and can probably jump one or two more times but less than 50% is like a crapshoot but I don't let it get to that low, so keep them fully charged, especially if you're going on long trips. I have plenty of and a variety of rechargeable batteries, so I make it a routine to ensure this is charged about once a month. With that in mind, I've had my DBPower and that other unit for a while now. DB for like 8 months now and the other unit at least a year. They're all working really well and I'll use them regularly to charge my iPhone, Kindle, etc. Then I just make sure I fully charge them routinely and especially before going on long trips and they've been holding on fine so far. I like this DP better than the other one and so much so that after someone broke into my car and this unit was a casualty of that break in. I'm buying another one. Since I don't commute very far I will wait until the price comes down a bit. I got mine for like $50 and that's where I'd like their price point.
