Just bought it but says 4g. description says 4g lte. is anyone getting lte on their device ?

I’m a telco engineer and 4G, LTE and 4G LTE all mean exactly the same thing. LTE was an early name for the technology and stood for Long Term Evolution before it was determined exactly which technology would be incorporated into the 4G standard

What does free 8gb mean? 8gb over lifetime of the product? or is that only for first month?

The free 8gb data is to use in the US only and there is no expiration date/time limit. It’s good to use for as long as it takes to consume the 8 gb. The free 1 gb data that also comes with the device is good for both U.S or international use and once again it’s without an expiration date.

how do we activate the 50G free that's advertised ?

You send them product numbers and they add it to your account.

Do i need to install a program in the work laptop to connect with this device? my work laptop is blocked to unload and install program for security.
