Secure and reliable hotspot for travelers!
Iโve been using the Glocalme UPP for a few weeks now and it has completely changed how I handle Internet access while traveling. If youโre on the road a lot, or need a solid backup for your home office, this little device is something you need to get. Itโs ultra lightweight and compact. It fits in your pocket or a small bag without adding any bulk, which is exactly what you need when youโre traveling light. The 13 hour battery life is real. I can leave it in my bag all day while working or exploring, and itโs still strong by the time I get back in the evening. The 4G LTE connectivity has been extremely reliable and the speed is more than I expected. Even more importantly, knowing that it uses high level security protocols gives me peace of mind when Iโm accessing work emails or banking. This is much safer than using public Wi-Fi. The best part is that thereโs no SIM card required. the CLOUDSIM technology really works. It finds the best local signal automatically. Knowing that it can handle up to eight devices at once makes this an even better value. Another great feature is that it comes with 60 GB of US data and 12 GB of global data. Itโs ready to go straight out of the box, and not having to deal with contracts or surprise roaming fees is a massive relief. If youโre looking for a reliable, no contract way to stay connected, globally, the GLOBALME UPP would be a fantastic choice. Itโs simple to operate, highly secure, and offers incredible data flexibility. Highly recommended!

Great for on-the-go connectivity
The GlocalMe UPP has been an excellent travel hotspot for me and an easy 5โstar device. Itโs convenient to land in a new place, power it on, and have data without hunting for a local SIM or dealing with roamingโjust activate through the app and go. Performance has been reliably good for typical travel use. It connects quickly, switches between local networks automatically using Cloud SIM, and Iโve been able to keep multiple devices (phones, tablets, a laptop) online at once without babysitting it. The included 60GB US data and 12GB global data give you a generous head start before you even think about buying more. What I liked: Truly pocketโsized hotspot that works in 200+ countries with no physical SIM required. Easy app-based data management with flexible payโasโyouโgo packages after the included data. Can share WiโFi with up to 8 devices at once, great for families or multiple gadgets. โSolid battery life (up to around a workday of use) in a lightweight device thatโs simple to toss in a bag or pocket. โ If you travel even a couple of times a year and hate juggling SIM cards or public WiโFi, this is a very practical little router that makes staying connected much less stressful.

Took a chance and ordered this portable WIFI!
I bought this portable wifi to use in Jamaica on vacation. Currently, it works very well, just needs to be charged daily so keep a portable charger with you at all times to boost it up! It was pretty easy to set up and the password is conveniently printed on the back of the device...which makes it very easy for me! It has worked inside the house and out on the street so good signal strength...it is even more reliable than the WiFi in the house! Considering that this is portable and usable in over 200 countries, the possibilities are limitless and that makes the price well worth it!

Itโs good, but it could be a lot better/DONโT expect the advertised 150mbps downloads
Very interesting device, has been working 50/50 since activating the 8 free GB of data for the US. it's been using mostly the T-mobile network with a few exceptions when it used AT&T. (It does not work on Verizon) according to my inquiry to get a SIM card from them and add it to my phone plan. I've used it with my cell, my kids tables and my iPad connected to it and so far the results have been good (for what I need it), nothing extraordinary or so. Nowhere near the advertised download speeds of 150 mbps; not even closeโฆI've average speeds of 35-40mbps Downloading with 1-3 devices connected at once and as low as 2-5mbps with 2 bars and 1 device connected at once, so NO! You CANโT run 10 devices (efficiently) at once; You can probably connect 10 devices but youโll be getting 3mbps or less per device. So far itโs been working fine but I live in the suburbs with a major city very close and almost no dead points of cell service by any carriers in my area so I have not yet been able to test it out in the country which is the main reason I bought it for when I go camping in the woods I can have access to live tv without using and killing my phoneโs battery because is used as a hotspot. One of the major disappointments so far has been the battery life; itโs supposed to last 8-12 hours of operation with up to 10 devices connected but so far the battery has only lasted 4-5 hours with 2-3 devices at once. I will keep testing it for another week before the return window closes and will update Wether itโs worth keeping it since I cannot use it with Verizon cause they donโt support this device on their network and itโll suck if I paid $170 for this thing and canโt rely on its connectivity to a good network. Last thing, I donโt like that it goes to sleep mode too fast and the touchscreen does not wake up the device you have to look for the power button and then slide your finger to open it again, thatโs not that effective and very distracting when you have to do it every few seconds.

Stable connection and very easy to configure!
I bought this hotspot to have internet during my transfers and it has worked wonderfully. The 4G signal is very stable and the navigation speed is constant. I loved that it already comes with data included, which makes it much easier to start using it immediately. It is lightweight, compact and the battery lasts a long time. A perfect solution to stay connected anywhere.

Data Scam
Itโs like a scam. I had DuoTurbo from this company, but the connection was lost and useless for 80-90% of the time in Nepal. I purchased this model to use in Japan and Korea, the connection was great. But a complete data scam. I only use instagram and gmail on my phone, no Netflix or Youtube. But the device said I used 27 GB in less than three weeks. I used the device for internet to send emails for an hour at Starbucks and it told me I used 4-5GB within an hour. I reached out to customer care, theyโre prompt in responding but did not have any solution for this. I would honestly purchase a wifi at the airport the moment I arrive in a foreign country. They provide a so much more stable, better wifi connection at a much more affordable, reasonable price. This? This is NOT. Unreliable, unstable, and drinks your money like a thirsty hippo. Supposed to make travel less stressful but it added stress.

An Essential All-in-One Solution for Global Connectivity!
This GlocalMe UPP 4G Mobile Hotspot is the perfect companion for anyone looking to stay connected across 200+ countries without the hassle of local SIM cards. The combination of CloudSIM technology and a generous data package works perfectly to provide a steady, reliable signal for up to 8 devices simultaneously. The no-contract, no-SIM formula acts as a "freedom-pass" for digital nomads and frequent travelers. It has helped significantly with my remote work sessions and keeps my navigation and communication apps running fluently while on the move. It is a high-quality hardware solution that fits easily into a pocket or laptop bag. Highly recommended for a major productivity and travel-safety boost!

Pleasantly Surprised
I was really surprised by how well this hotspot performed. I needed it for work, and the building I was in had a metal roof, which usually makes it hard to get a signal, but this still picked up very well. The only downside is that the app can be a little confusing to navigate, especially when trying to check the battery status. Other than that, Iโm very happy with this purchase.

A great little 4G hotspot
So, this hotspot comes with an installed "GlocalMe" esim, with a bit of prepaid data to get it running out of the box. I bought mine to use with a physical SIM card on a local mobile provider, and it worked perfectly. The web-based management user interface is fine, and fairly intuitive. I didn't install the app, though I suspect it will make it easier for owners to configure the hotspot and subscribe to Glocalme services. The hotspot lasts quite a few hours continuous (longer than 12 hours for me.) It had no issues connecting to my mobile network and provided reasonable (though not extraordinary) 4G upload and download speeds.

Expensive and unreliable garbage
This thing sucks. Not at all worth the purchase price. Its slow and connections time out frequently. The data plans are outrageously expensive and the device consumes data with a voracious appetite. If you're a c suite executive with an expense account, you *may find the performance acceptable. But if you"re paying over $1.70 USD per GB of slow and spotty data you're going to be alittle annoyed. The best feature is that your purchased data package expires! That's right, you pay through the nose for a data package that expires 30 days following activation with no roll over. You can't "ration" your data because you don't know how much data you might be consuming exploring a town with Google Maps, forcing you to purchase another outrageously overpriced data plan, again. I've spent hours in cafes trying to get the damn thing to connect to local 4G networks using locally purchased SIM cards but the user app is so bloated with ads I honestly can't figure out what the hell the instructions are trying to communicate to me. You're guessing as to which network you're connected to, if you're connected at all. The printed instructions and the app were written by a non native English speaker and serve to frustrate the user. The smarter move here is to purchase a second hand cell phone and get a local data plan with a local SIM card. The user interface on a laptop is slow and freezes frequently. This has been one of the worst purchases of my life as the device is unreliable, has horrendous user interface options, frustrating written user instructions, and an app so bloated with ads you can't figure out what the hell you've done with the device much less what you're trying to accomplish with the confusing and convoluted app. I'm going to toss the device into the trash right now. Attempting to rely on piece of garbage is simply too frustrating.

Mobile Hotspot works as expected, signal had no drop-offs
Used it in interior BC middle of nowhere, still had great reception. Battery also held up, I ran it from morning to afternoon then manually turned it off - still had juice. I used the in-app plans, but I saw other comments suggesting your own SIM can be used. Haven't tested that portion yet.

Expensive Data but works in a pinch Emergency
It is Expensive As a Mauf'k. For the data Plans That can be provided by The Glocalme Itself. Hardcore expensive prices Im using the data It Gave as a gift for activating the account 10 Gigs local Data That's all then I'll try a Sim card when I figure out a Provider that won't be mega expensive either. Used for security cameras wifi cameras . Tends to say Unstable connection with its own data And it's not super fast but it's 2.4 GHz which is what the camera Requires to operate and Remote view

Works like a charm
I use this device every where i travel. Some esim rates are too expensive, but then i just use a physical sim with cheaper rates.
