Worked great in Italian hotels and homes. Fits well into all outlets. Compact but rugged. WARNING- this is only a connector-adaptor, NOT a voltage regulator, so ONLY use this with devices that are OK with 240 volt AC input (it should say in fine print on your adaptor). Most laptops/cell chargers/tablet chargers, etc. are okay with 110-240, so they'll be okay with this adaptor. DO NOT plug a surge-supressing power-strip into this. It will immediately KILL the power strip and short-out, flipping off the lights in your hotel room and leaving a cloud of smoke. (How do I know this?)

Used for Italy trip. Fits local outlets just as expected. US plugs fits into it without problem. This is not a converter but nowadays many electronics and appliances work with dual voltage (120/240v). Before I used two prong Euro plugs in Italy (Euro plugs works in Italy in most major cities) but I feel safer and more solid fit with this Italy specific plugs, rather than trying to fit Euro plugs with unsteady insecure fit. I don't feel safe around 240 volts! My wife used her hair curlers which has dual voltage without any problem. I liked that this order came as two pack; I can use one for myself charging USB needs like tablet, phone, and mp3 players.

I don’t like that i only got one use out of the adapter.

One of them broke a bit so that one of its outlets was unusable, but the others were fine. Used exclusively all over Italy and never had a problem. Broke off a center pin on one to use in outlets that had only 2 pins but these were rare.

While in Europe it was nice to have several to use in the different appliances rather than switching them out each time. The price was right and I found if I taped them to my appliance plug I wouldn't forget and leave the adapter in the wall socket. I lost a few last time by leaving the adapter in the wall when I unplugged them and I left. Oops!

I bought this grounded adapter along with a two-prong adapter in preparation for our trip to Italy a month or so ago. The grounded adapter worked flawlessly in 5 different 4-star hotels in Venice, Rome, Sorrento, and Marina di Fuscaldo and Lamezia in Calabria. I was able to charge our Panasonic Lumix camera, iPhone, and iPad with no problems whatsoever, two at a time. We never used the two-prong adapter, but I would recommend buying one just in case your hotel does not have grounded outlets. I highly recommend this adapter.

I took this to Italy and the plug does not fit the socket properly. It is loose and does not charge unless you hold it. Do not buy!!'

Worked great in all the hotels visted in italy. Best part about this adapter is the capability to plug two plugs into this adapter. In the hotels they don't give you many outlets, so this adapter was perfect.
