Why did you choose this product over others?: I have heard about the ergotron brand before and always seen good reviews of it despite of its cost. Functionality: To my surprise this is loaded with all the features, move up and down, tilt sideways tild upwards and downwards, move forward and backwards, just all around pretty much a 360 movement, well 180 for the base and almost 360 for the monitor. Mobility: Takes a bit getting used to with the movement, if you make it more stiff to move, expect it to be hard to do small adjustments but it will stay in place and will not wobble, or you can loosen it and it might wobble a bit more but will be super easy to move about. Cable management: On the back there is 2 ties for cables that run along the arm and a plastic shroud that hides the cables going down behind the table. Easy to use and access. Desk space: I used to have my monitor up on a small elevated riser, and got tired of all the wobble from it, and while that took up a lot of space, this one saves quite a lot, to the point that I dont even know what to do with the empty space :D Totally loving it, it holds an LG C2 42" just fine, but it DID require a vesa mount adapter 300x200, as the included one only goes up to 200x200. so much cleaner on the desk and I can move the monitor closer any time I want to or further away if I dont want it to be up close. Assembly is also very simple, I did not drill a hole into my desk so I used the end clamp and it clamps on very strongly, the base is heavy but i have a table that is roughly 3cm in height and is made of solid wood so no issues with that. The first part slides into place easily and the second also, clipping on the monitor was a breeze even alone so you dont necessarily need 2 people to do it, clip attached, screw in from the bottom and it wont go anywhere! as stable as it can be.

This monitor arm paired with the HX Heavy-Duty Tilt Pivot is the perfect solution for desk mounting your Samsung Odyssey G9 or I'm sure any other large and heavy ultrawide screen such as the LG 49" one. The arm is extremely well made and feels premium in every area, from the assembly through to the motion of moving the monitor around on it being extremely smooth. I do find occasionally trying to move my monitor, I have to swing the monitor one way to then be able to get enough friction to move the part of the arm I'd like, which can make it a bit akward to get it exactly where you want it. That could just be down to certain areas being too tight though which I could loosen up with the included allen key. The arm isn't going anywhere though, I've got it mounted my sit / standing desk, and when I move the desk up or down, the screen stays solid. When I'm typing on the desk, the massive screen doesn't really move much at all compared to other monitor arms out there, a true demonstration of the superior build quality of Ergotrons Monitor Arm.

I bought this as I had a desk stand from Ergatron - their products are well made and well constructed. The arm is no exception, it's even easier to install. The range of motion is restricted however to the first column which doesn't swivel 360 degrees which limited the ability to stow away the monitor from a desk (if like me you use it on your kitchen table). My monitor is very large (Samsung 34J890) and the attachment that comes with the arm supports it with no issues at all, so need to for the extra for larger monitors. Overall excellent kit but very pricey

Really very pleased with this dual mount arm. After reading the reviews and considering many other options decided to give it a go and glad I did. It's on the pricey side but you do get your moneys worth. It looks very smart and is very sturdy. I like that you adjust the tension on various movements so that whatever monitors you install you get a fluid movement and the position stays. No drooping over time. A little fiddly to get right initially but worth it. Cable routing is also pretty good. Not perfect but good enough in my humble opinion and I'm fairly fussy about cables. I have the back of the monitors facing the open room so it needs to look neat. Debated as to whether to give it 5 or 4 but concluded as it wasn't perfect I needed to make it 4. Close call.

Heavy duty, well made, easy to assemble. Very clear instructions. Screws and fittings particularly well packed and labelled. You really do get what you pay for.

It's reputation speaks for itself. Even if your plan on mounting a monitor on the lighter end, its worth considering this in order to remain flexible in future. I've used it for both incredibly heavy and mid-weight monitors. The build quality is superb. Rock solid metal, with a nice finish. You will proably have this for the rest of your life. One little detail that's important to me is it has a nice soft rubber on the topside of the clamp that contacts the desk -- since I have a high degree of paranoia about inadvertent damage to my cherished hardwood desk.

Easy to install, lots of bits didnt need because I used the desk clamp. Bought the HX Arm with the optional HX pivot ... see picture comparing both, the HX pivot has the thicker spring. You will need the VESA backplate adapter (first picture) this comes with the monitor. Excellent mount ... very happy. I suggest follow Tech Man Pat on youtube for Ergotron HX G9 Odyssey on how to assemble.

The only thing stopping me giving this 5 stars is the price, but it's streets ahead of the Amazon Basics Premium (the re-badged Ergotron LX). This hold my Samsung LC49RG perfectly, without shake or sag (no heavy duty pivot; that appears to be only needed for the G9 white/gaming version). Looks great and sturdy as a rock though. Brilliant piece of kit!

Zeer blij mee. Als je hem uit de doos haal voel je gelijk dat het geen rommel is. Echt kwaliteit spul. Makkelijk te installeren maar neem er wel ff de tijd voor.

For years I have used lesser VESA-compatible arms to hold two 27-inch monitors. Trying a new 28-inch monitor, the weight exceeded the capacity of the old stand; that monitor sagged and could not stay vertical. The Ergotron HX Dual keeps monitors aligned while repositioning at will. Putting the HX Dual together is a two-person operation when attaching four screws to each VESA display. We did not find a "fix" guide in the instructions to indicate where and what to tighten to resolve specific issues. That would have been helpful for final adjustments. Bottom line: highly recommended premium arm for workstations to maximize productivity with two (or three if ordered) monitors.

I absolutely love this arm! I went through a couple of cheaper "heavy-duty" mounts that claimed they could hold a massive curved monitor, but they always ended up sagging or feeling unstable. The Ergotron HX is in a completely different league. It is the best of the best. The build quality is phenomenal. Setting it up with the VESA mount was straightforward, and the cable management keeps my desk looking pristine. The best part is the movement—it is buttery smooth. Even with a massive, heavy screen attached, you can adjust the height and angle with just one hand and it stays perfectly locked in place without any drooping. If you have an expensive flat or curved monitor up to 49 inches, don't trust it on a cheap mount. BUY. THIS. ONE.

Trochę drogie ale polecam. Bardzo fajny uchwyt. Podwiesiłem telewizor 42” i super to wygląda. Duży plus za szeroki zakres regulacji.
