Okay, so this powder is not a miracle worker, you can't expect it to magically dissolve all your pet hair from your hairy clothes and pet beds. The only way to really get hair off your items is to vacuum and lint roll. That being said, I ordered this to clean out our washing machine because I have a major hair phobia despite living with six dogs/cats. I religiously vacuum and lint roll everything. When it comes time to do my laundry the washing machine is caked with all kinds of hair, especially the rubber seal thingy around the door of the front loader, which totally freaks me out. The vacuum can't get it out because of the residual moisture in the washing machine, so I gave this stuff a try, by itself, in the empty washing machine. It removed nearly EVERY hair!! Now I can do my laundry without feeling the need to lint roll it immediately afterwards. (I did lint roll it afterwards to test and see if the hair was really gone and it was!) I am beyond impressed and can feel a little less neurotic now.

Purchased this product after I saw an “influencer” swear by it on Instagram. Well it was all lies because this did nothing but mess up my washer. It didn’t dissolve in the detergent dispenser; made a huge mess. Awful purchase. Do not recommend.

Works great! We run a rescue so we're constantly washing blankets, towels, and reusable potty pads. This will not get rid of all the hair but it will get rid of the MAJORITY of hair. Use 2 packets the first time you wash the items. One packet should be fine after that unless it's been awhile since you've washed the item or it's covered in a lot of hair.

This product pulled ALOT of hair from the bedding and clumped it up all over bedding I'm globs. I had to vacumn my bedding. That was using 2 packs as instructed. I then used last pk to wash machine. I believe any hair that was in washer is out as I do not seem to have as much in lint trap but I am out if product. A lil pricey was hoping to find a product that I could use with each load like fabric softeners, this product is to expensive for that. May buy again if hair picks up

As long as you follow the directions (which includes using your hottest water settings, obviously not possible on all types of fabric) this does a decent job. We have some animals that leave behind a LOT of fur and while it doesn’t get rid of 100% of it, it definitely leaves the washer gasket less full of it than before. I also find for items you can’t use the hottest water in, that using this after in a self clean cycle does a wonderful job of removing much hair. It does a better job and is much less hassle than “hair catcher” style products which are just as much of a pain to clean themselves than using nothing and cleaning the washer. I think if we had slightly less shedding to deal with (and/or fewer pets) that this could be a 5-star product but I just can’t know for sure. Try it as a washer cleaner after the fact (or in combination with using it in the wash) and it may boost performance for you! Pet hair mess is something we have to deal with for our beloved furry friends - and while this doesn’t 100% eliminate the problem it does better than anything else we’ve tried - and I think we have tried everything!

Only used once so far but seemed to cut through some of the dog hair. Pleasant scent. I wash my blankets often and use many so this could get expensive to use with each wash so may stretch out.

I followed the directions. I used two sachets of the product and also used detergent and washed my dogs bedding and a couple of towels that we use to clean my dogs paws when it rains. I used the hottest setting for a normal heavy load on my washing machine. It was a 2 hour cycle. When it finished there was a ton of dog hair on the door of my front load washer. There was also a lot of dirty water in the door along with a lot of dog hair. I really hope some of the dog hair dissolved because I specifically got this so the dog hair wouldn't clog up my washing machine. I will probably wash her larger bed at the laundromat in the future just to be safe and not ruin my machine. My dog has short hairs but she sheds a lot (she is a GSP). I got the product because I washed the dog mats that go on the couch and I think my washer had a clog because it didnt drain correctly the last time I washed a load. Thankfully we were able to run this cycle fully without any problems. I am running an empty cycle now with no detergent just to see if there is still build up in the door. Giving two stars because the clothes smelled like detergent and I am hoping the hair that didn't get stuck to the door did dissolve. I will update this review if anything changes.

Takes 3 packets and 4 hours on super hot wash, but it works!! My Husky and GSD shed all year, 2x a year, so I’ve tried everything. This is the best thing that has worked so far in the washing machine. Their beds, blankets, bath towels, and even crate mats for their food have finally come to 90% hairless after 1 wash. 90% isn’t 100, but it’s far better than everything else I’ve tried! Color me a surprised fan!

Terrible product, used one sachet as instructions and the amount of hair that came out of the washing machine when I shook the blanket was 10x more than usual. It pulls the hair out of the fibre by shrinking it but then it isn’t dissolved
