I have had other engine stands in the past and this blue BIG RED AT26801UR Torin may be the best one of the bunch, exceeding my wary expectations. First, the packaging was robust enough to withstand even the roughest shipper. No missing parts - no extra parts. The finish on the stand was quite nice, with no noticeable marks. Assembly was easily straight forward. I barely had to glance at the printed instructions. As someone else pointed out - if you can assemble an engine you can assemble this stand. I was looking for some added stability from this stand and it delivered. The front cross member is wide enough for that extra stability plus the fifth/center wheel really helps. When no engine is attached the folding mechanism is a welcome feature. I got lucky with a 30% discount on the blue unit making it a great value. Unless the unit completely falls apart when I install the first engine - this purchase adds up to a great piece of hardware for my shop.

I used this stand to support my marine engine while I was rebuilding it. The stand went together fairly easy. The instructions were clear. The stand itself is nice and sturdy. I had no concerns of tipping or engine support. I saw another user complain that the engine won't spin once it's mounted. Well...you need to spray a little grease on the pivot tube and it spins just fine. No issue at all. Overall, it's a nice little stand at a great price. I would definitely buy it again.

This engine stand is great , for its weight class. I have purchased many different brands and styles of stands in the past, and none were as easy to assemble as this one. The build quality is excellent. All the holes are where they are supposed to be, and all the hardware was supplied, which is a rarity with this type of product. Would recommend for the weight class, and will likely buy again.

I'm building an iron-headed, supercharged 454 big block Chevy engine. Total weight should come in around 850-900 pounds. But even with just the long-block assembly, the "750#" stand I was using was slowly sagging; I needed something better. This looks like it'll do the job nicely. HEAVY construction, easy to put together, obviously a well thought design. The fact that it basically folds in half for storage, is an awesome bonus. Side note: when it arrived, the box was SHREDDED, pieces falling out. I immediately put it together to make sure all the parts were present- and incredibly, they WERE. Don't know if that was the shippers' fault, or just the (somewhat unsubstantial packaging) for such a heavy set of hardware. Since all pieces were present and miraculously undamaged, I still give it five stars.
