I have a golden retriever and had hoped this would help pick up some of his long hair. Didn't really work, and the hair it did pick up was really hard to get out of the glove.

this is such a GREAT THING!! It really grabs the hair off my cat and Chihuahua! They both shed SO BAD and I just cannot take it anymore!!! BOTH sides grab the hair but the nubby side works really well to grab that loose hair. I'm SO glad I bought it. Worth EVERY penny.

I bought this to better was the dog and so far it has worked well, He is a short haired dog and this didn't do much to remove his shedding hair dry, however it worked well when he was wet. This made some nice suds and pulled up a lot of loose hair; he really seemed to love it. The first time I used this the seam on the elastic wrist band busted and had to be resewn. I would have given it 4 stars if not for that. The cat does like it and it pulled up plenty of her shedding hair no problem.The back side of this mitt has a fabric like what is on a lint brush. But it only works in a right to left direction. Two things I will suggest is 1. Switch the hook and loop tape to where the hook is on the top and loop is on the bottom and make the loop tape longer to accommodate smaller wrist. 2. Reverse the fabric on the back to work left to right.

They are hard to clean out and with a German Shepard I need to clean it every 2 strokes

GGkids Pet Dog Cat Grooming Massage Glove Brush - Right & Left Handed Fit This is a great glove brush for dogs that do not have a lot of hair or do not shed. We have a shih tzu that we keep cut short. Since she does not shed this is nice to use on her just to brush her. She loves it and sits and lets me brush her as long as I want. I also tried this on our holland lop rabbit. She has thicker hair than our dog and she sheds a lot. I found that just brushing it was did ok on the top layer, but it really doesn't get into the hair and brush it out past the first layer of hair. And if any hair did come off from her shedding, the brush didn't really hold onto it. so hair was going everywhere. Although, it didn't really do much for getting the hair that she sheds out or keeping it from flying everywhere, the bunny actually liked being groomed with this brush glove as well. Since both pets did enjoy the grooming "massage" I am giving this 4 stars. I only took 1 star away for the fact that it doesn't really work well on thicker coats or for shedding. I was given this product at a discount to give my honest review; and honestly, i like it just to give the animals some love, but I will still have to use a different brush for the rabbits thicker hair. Our dog, well she I will still use it on her just because she loves it.

Doesn't collect the cat hair very well and keeps slipping off my hand.

My lab Molly loved this glove, as you can tell in the video I attached. She is a long haired lab and sheds quite a bit in the spring before we get her shaved for summer. Molly lost one of her front legs and shoulder when she was a pup She is 10 now and it is really hard to get around now. Her remaining front leg and shoulder has carried her weight around for many years and is undoubtedly very sore. She is a sweet loving girl. Anything I can do to pamper her or make her more comfortable I want to do. This glove does a great job of massaging her shoulder. In this video, she was not turned in a way that you can see her good (and only) shoulder, but when I got to that side I could tell she really enjoyed it. I am really happy with this glove. It is soft on her skin, but has rubber bumps allover it that adds to the massage experience. It is made to be worn on either right handed or left handed people. There is a hole on both sides so either way you turn it, you can put your thumb in it. I didn't read the description well enough and I put my thumb in one hole and my pinky in another. That is not the intended way to use those holes but I actually like doing it that way. It makes it more natural to rub her - like a semi cupped hand. Whatever I did, it was a hit with Molly. She did not want me to stop. I was holding the phone with one hand and massaging her with another so I could not show myself pulling the loose hair out of the glove but I tried to show the little pile I was making. It did a great job of taking the loose hairs out. The other side is for washing but I haven't used it and cannot give a review on how that side does but I can only imagine it will do as well as the brush side. I bought this Grooming Massage Glove at a discount in exchange for my honest review. If that makes you nervous, than trust Molly. She is a true honest reviewer. You can tell she is loving this massage.
