Kinda pricey but supposed to boost immune system

This powder is actually one of the best options available for incorporating sea buckthorn into your diet other than getting the fresh berries (which are uncommon in stores). It's also one of the highest quality powders made from this berry other than the Arctic Flavors version, and smells and tastes as it should every time. For people unfamiliar with sea buckthorn, different people have a different impression, but for me the smell is admittedly unpleasant (it has a fishy smell with a hint of citrus fruit) while the taste is somewhat like sour orange (not too bad). However, the taste and smell isn't my motivation for getting this powder. From the ancient Greeks to the Chinese, the sea buckthorn berry is used in traditional medicine and considered to have a number of healing effects. I have noticed it has tangible health benefits when I eat it, including a faster healing of skin problems. I only wish this version was freeze-dried instead of air-dried, but the company claims there are challenges to doing that.

is as advertised, to me, I put in smoothie and do not have bad taste , so far no upset stomach issues either...but I am starting small...and working up to a tablespoon. so I am only taking about 1/2 teaspoon to sart

This is a dried form of a berry I haven't tried before, the sea buckthorn, from the Baltic. It's clearly a high-quality form of the foodstuff, colorful, richly flavored and strongly scented. The flavor is basically tart, acidic, cranberry-like; the scent is a bit off-putting, with a marine or bitter note that takes some getting used to. It'll be interesting to see how it works in yogurt or baking or desserts (I might try adding it to cranberry sauce), but I'm not sure I love the flavor enough to consume it regularly compared to more familiar, straightforward berries without the slightly strange aroma.

Sehr gutes Produkt, schmeckt sehr gut, ideal zum Beimischen oder in Wasser oder Milch verrührt. Info: löst sich nicht komplett auf, da es sehr fein zerriebene Früchte sind. Das ist kein Nachteil, man muss es nur wissen.

Fruits biologiques d'argousier qui sont intéressants par les huiles riche en omega 7 et les polyphénols très puissants et spécifiques à l'espèce. Les 113g du sachet correspondent à 655g de produit frais. La poudre est faite à partir de baies entières et contient la pulpe, les pépins et la peau. Ce qui explique que la poudre n'est pas super fine. Le goût n'est pas top mais similaire à celui de la baie nature qu'il est très difficile d'utiliser en cuisine à cause des petits pépins très durs qu'elle contient. C'est plutôt un produit santé qu'un produit gastronomique mais qui peut être agréable dans des mélanges de fruits en poudre.
