I changed all my footwear to the minimalist barefoot design. This one is more of a "sock" than a shoe. The advantage is that I feel the grooves on the ground, which I found interesting as opposed to shoes. Your taste may differ, but I use this to immerse myself in the walk or at the gym. It will look weird, however, when used normally in public places because it will look like you forgot to put your shoes on and just went with your socks :) Overall I would have given it a 5-star review, BUT I ordered the same thing for my wife, and there was an issue: the sizes offered are not comprehensive: - 38/39 was too big for my wife - 36/37 was too small I was lucky with mine, which fit well, but unfortunately, my wife couldn't use them. I would advise the makers to add more sizes in between. Lumping them like this won't work for many people, and they'll lose a lot of customers and cause unnecessary returns.

Because there is no strap going over the foot to keep it in place, the skinners tend to fold around your foot if you do any quick twisting movement, they may be good for barefoot running and basic weighting, but they are not stable and will keep moving around and folding with any twisting movement

Very practical specially as a combination of outdoor / indoor usages

Its just like a sock with a sole added, is not as comfortable as we expected, I don't we can trekking in it , as stones can still hurt you , as the sole is soft. It's comfortable on flat surfaces.

Habe die Skinners den ganzen Sommer getragen und natürlich auch jetzt im Herbst. Nur im Ballengang verwenden! Es sind ja Barfußschuhe.Die dünne Sohle ist für fortgeschrittene Barfußgänger ok. Gripp ist verblüffend. Ich trage die Skinners hauptsächlich mit Socken, was noch etwas Dämpfung bringt. Im Bergrucksack sind sie mittlerweile immer dabei. Nach Verlassen der "groben" Passagen und auf den Almwiesen, Fahrwegen, gute Erholung für die geschundenen Bergschuh-Füße. Nicht Wasserdicht- für Barfußgeher aber kein Problem. Die Socken sind sehr leicht, trotzdem robust. Quer zum Hang und steil bergab.....na ja. Die Dinger sollten passen; die Größen sind leider zu sehr zusammengefasst. Die Socken gehören genauso eingelaufen wie andere Schuhe auch. Das Material passt sich auch noch minimal an. Eine Kilometerleistung an zu geben, wie ich es teilweise schon gelesen habe, ist unmöglich; wie soll das auch gehen? Es kommt halt auf die eigenen Gewohnheiten an. Meine werden hauptsächlich auf Feld- Wald und Wiesenwegen getragen. Sie haben natürlich schon starke Gebrauchsspuren, sind aber offensichtlich, noch lange nicht durchgelaufen. Wenn man den Preis betrachtet geht das schon in Ordnung; im Gegensatz zu manch anderen namhaften Herstellern, die locker das 3- fache für Schrott verlangen. Ich kann den Skinners empfehlen. Am besten für bereits fortgeschrittene Barfußgänger. Für den Winter gibt es andere Möglichkeiten.

This is my second pair. I had ordered my first pair of Skinners when it was available through Kickstarter. I am a barefoot runner and due to poor road conditions and not-so-hygiene roads around, I had to look for alternative footwear taht would give me that barefoot feeling yet providing me protection from small pebbles and dirty roads. My feet size falls between M and L and I opted for L this time. It feels much comfortable with slightly bigger size. My first pair was M and it was too tight for me. I would get toe pain after running more than 15-16 kms. I have run a few half marathons wearing this. .

Muy buenos. Los uso para estar en casa y para salir esporádicamente a la calle, me ha sorprendido lo cómodos que son aunque dan un poco de calor. La talla perfecto
