Ok, so I washed and rinsed my hair, it cleans very well, sorta freaky with the black shampoo, but I can get use to that, next morning I wet my hair in the bathroom sink, (crazy curly hair) when I towel dry, my towel had some black smears! I guess I should have rinsed it out better, my fault, I like this shampoo, Way better then hair color which really damages the hair and scalp.

This does darken hair each time used. My hair went from white to dark gunmetal. Washing your hair to often may be why some feel this product doesn't work. I notice in about 3 days the color fully develops. So stop stripping your hair by washing it daily and you may find different results. Most people have very clean habits so hair should stay clean at least 3 days. The reason I have only given it a 4 star as it is not made clear how it accomplishes the change in color.i.e. does it contain metals??? Maybe the manufacturer can answer that one??

I've been using this product for a month and overall it's really just OKAY. But there are some things you really must know before using this product. 1.) This shampoo works (basically) like Fanci-Full. Except that where Fanci-full washes out after one shampoo, this can last a bit longer. It's a staining product. It's not really working to restore color at the roots. Using another shampoo in between seems to negate the benefit. 2.) Like any coloring product, it doesn't always work that great on resistant grays. After a month of use I have not achieved 100% coverage on the handful of grays I have, and still need hair color. 3.) The shampoo is thin. Not watery thin, but likely thinner than you're used to and produces a lather that's thinner than you're used to. 4.) The product stains OTHER STUFF. If you go crazy lathering up your hair, you're going to want to change that because the shampoo is black and you'll be flinging black soap everywhere. If left, it will stain your tub or your grout. It has also stained a polyester shower curtain - which didn't come out in the wash. 5.) The scent reminds me a bit of old school dog shampoo. I know that sounds harsh, it's not. It's just that it doesn't smell floral or fruity. More manly, I guess. It dies down and doesn't linger on me. 6.) Like several others, I found that daily washing made my hair dry. I have fine and thin hair. It acts like a 'clarifying shampoo' on me. Conditioner seemed to effect the depositing/coating of the color, so I quit using that too. I suppose that's a benefit. For years I thought I needed a shampoo and conditioner and to wash my hair every day because it would get so limp. Since I quit putting all the heavy stuff on it, I can go every other day without it looking gross. Whodathunk?

the shampoo is super black. i use it twice a week with my dyed jet black hair. before i had to re dye my hair every month to keep the blackness. now i have gone too months and it is still black. i dont even need to use conditioner afterwards (i have thin hair). leaves my hair super shiny and black. will repurchase.

It actually brightened my gray. It also feels like it is harsh on my hair. I never felt like I needed conditioner until I used this product. The product is black like ink but it doesn't darken my hair at all.

It's a shampoo that covers your grey hair, gives you nice dark hair. If you switch shampoo, for example I use a clarifying shampoo once a week, all the color goes away. It's less harsh then dying and great to use in between dying. I wish it came in a red or auburn color.

The product is not that effective. Tried for over a week but did not see any results. It’s basically die infused which colors the hair and don’t actually turns them back to black or can keep it black. If you stop using it for two days can see the fading instantly.

Un shampoo que vengo usando desde hace tiempo y que me ha dado un oscurecimiento gradual y saludable de las canas

Después de un par de semanas de uso, por hasta dos veces al día, no veo ningún cambio mínimo que me haga suponer que se están cubriendo las canas. Dejo el producto en mi pelo por 15 a 20 minutos. No ha cumplido con lo esperado del producto.
