Do these lids also fit Pyrex glass containers ?

Are the lids safe for microwave?

Being they are plastic I would not put the lids in the microwave but I do put them on the top rack in the dishwasher.

why is it more expensive just to purchase replacement lids?

I have not purchased replacement lids but I will say they are not very durable. All my lids have cracked at one point of the lip. Reviews are saying do not put in the dishwasher which is probably the result of mine. I love the glass bowls but the lids are definitely disappointing. I've never had this happen to a storage container quite so quickly. They must make their money on lids
