Very tight fit but does the job.
I was dubious when I opened the package and compared these belts to the old belts. I recognize the old belts stretched, but the new ones were half the diameter. Once the belts were installed in the clutch assembly, there was very little belt protruding from the clutch. You most definitely need a hook tool to stretch them to install on the motor shaft and beater bar. It took four hands to stretch those belts, two to hold the machine housing and two to stretch and install the belts. Was also concerned that the belts would break as they had to be stretched a long way, but they didn't and once installed, beater bar runs like new.

Perfect fit, great quality
I bought these belts to replace on my Dyson DC14. They arrived quickly and well packaged. The quality seemed at least as good as the OEM ones. Installation of belts on a Dyson is a real pain but that's not the sellers fault, it's a tight Dyson design. I bought the Dyson belt tool which made the job a whole lot easier and only costs a few bucks here on Amazon. Dyson will tell you the whole clutch unit needs to be replaced if it turns out the clutch is bad but flipping the clutch plate to the "new" side does the trick and costs nothing to do it yourself. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that will walk you through it. It's really not that hard, Dyson just wants to sell the whole $80 clutch assembly.

DC 33 - Fits great, thought it was totally wrong at first..but then....
These belts nicely fit a Dyson DC 33 - a pain in the butt to install and you need to follow installation videos very carefully. I thought I messed up and ordered the wrong belts as these do NOT state DC33 but they do fit, I couldn't believe how stretched out my old belts were in comparison to these new belts. Finally assembled everything back together aaaaaannndd.. no brush roll! So I searched "DC 33 no brush roll" to discover videos detailing popping off the 2 plastic end caps of the brush roller where massive wound up clumps of hair and fur will always clog everything and seize the brush roll. It was horrifying in both ends. Cleaned it all out...put it all back together and SUCCESS! Brush rollin strong!

Belts worked; easy to install; no need for new clutch.
My clutch is relatively new having only replaced it recently. I only needed the clutch-to-motor belt and will save the clutch-to-brush-bar for later. My belt had burned out because (my wife's long) hair jammed the brush bar enough to where everything was stuck and the pulley(pin) on the motor just burned through the stuck belt. There was enough hair in there to make a wig. I removed the clutch based on instructions I saw online. The belt was very easy to replace and didn't require any special tools beyond a flathead and a torx screwdriver. All you have to do is remove the torx screws from the clutch and stick a screwdriver into the plastic latch tab and the cover pops right off. There aren't any parts (i.e. bearings) to take apart after that. Just stick the belt in, pop the cover back on, and screw the torx screws back in. The biggest challenge is to loop the new belt back onto the motor. It's not complicated, but just required a little muscle to loop it onto the motor pin after you first put the clutch into its installed position. I did at first try to loop the belt onto the motor first and then push the clutch in its place, but that turned out to be more difficult.

Good Quality, Very difficult to install
Literally have to take apart the vacuum and since these belts were for an older model the plastic (Liquid Metal per Dyson) is brittle and easily broken. Although I was able to get it on - very difficult; possibly too small - it did not allow the beater bar to work. Thinking it was not the correct size as the original Dyson belt.

Not easy to install, but that is the fault of the vacuum. This seems to be a good product.
I am sure the Dyson company does not want its customer to replace their own belts. It was very difficult, but I was able to conquer it with the help of YouTube. It took me 3 days, but I was successful. I had to enlist the help of my husband to help me get the new belt back on the roller because it was unbelievably tight. The new belts work well. Very reasonably priced.

Try This Before Tossing Your Dyson!
My 12 year old Dyson was getting difficult to push and seemed to struggle with debris. Although I was fine with a replacement by this point, I decided it was worth the small gamble to see if replacing the belts would keep it running. This came with the clutch belt and the brush belt. The brush belt can be replaced by dismantling the clutch assembly. My belts weren’t broken but they were certainly stretched out. Tear down wasn’t simple but it wasn’t awful either. Replacing the brush belt could be problematic and I can see where the tool would help, but fortunately I’ve done a lot of deadlifts in my day and have strong hands as a result. Once reassembled the vacuum worked wonderfully. I’m hoping this will buy it a few more years of life. I’d heartily recommend this product.
