I have a couple of apple watches, I really like the utility, but the battery life is barely a day. Plus it doesn't really look all that good, sometimes you want your watch to look like a watch. But then , you miss your notifications and your tracking. This combines both the aesthetics of a really nice Nomo watch and most of the smart watch features I want. In top of this , the battery life is simply phenomenal. It's been a week and my watch is still above 90% charge. I can go on almost any trip without the charger. In this day and age, this is unheard of! The ECG works fine as does the SPo2 The quick start crown feature works The strap looks great and is easy change too, if you want more variety. I can't find any flaws so far, and the price is almost half that of an Apple watch 10 What's not to like?

Pros: - Long lifetime battery - Simple design Cons: - Only supports few apps notifications (e.g. Google Calendar isn’t supported) - Digital display is low quality - Watch gives notifications even if you don’t wear it. - Dial glass is so weak and easy to be broken. - Very expensive compared to the value it provides. Final say: It’s completely a waste of money, DO NOT BUY IT!

Everything else is fine

It's a lifetime experience to be able to have your health monitored...and charge it every 2 weeks, since I use all the functions ...

Sadly, Withings appears to have not foreseen a very predictable failure mode of a watch with a protruding convex crystal face that is in no way protected by a bezel. They have no provisions in place for the repair or replacement of a seemingly inevitably cracked crystal. The watch itself is amazing, and for the time period prior to the first time you drop it, you'll love it. Sensors are great. Battery life is ridiculously good. Tech at its best – does its job invisibly with little to no cognitive load on the wearer. However, as long as the company's only proposed solution for a cracked crystal is to provide customers with a 25% discount to purchase an entirely new watch, I cannot recommend this watch to anyone. I've owned mine for 8 months; dropped it twice, and with the second fall, the crystal shattered. Withings treats these watches as disposables, so I'm now on the unpleasant journey of DIY crystal replacement for a watch that is less than a year old. (apparently, it's very doable)

If this watch comes from US, ECG will not work if you live outside of US. They don't even mention it anywhere!!! I bought 2 of this not cheap watches as a gift for my parents. Thanks for ruining it!!! P.S. Withings support reply once in 24 hours and it took them 5 emails (read - 5 days) to repeat at the end the issue I described in my first email. Problem is not solved as you understand.

Ottimo dispositivo per quanto riguarda il monitoraggio della salute. Ovviamente non è a livello di altri smartwatch magari più evoluti per l'allenamento, ma in compenso offre un ecg abbastanza affidabile e una linea più classica. Batteria ottima, circa un 3-4% al giorno con un paio di ecg, una misurazione spo2 e tutte le notifiche, oltre al monitoraggio della respirazione nel sonno su automatico. La vibrazione per le notifiche si percepisce perfettamente (vengo da un huawei watch gt dove era meno forte). L'unica attenzione da porre è che l'app deve rimanere attiva in background altrimenti il risparmio energetico del telefono tende a chiuderla e non vi arriveranno le notifiche. Il telefono non consuma maggiore batteria, o almeno non in modo percettibile. L'unica nota leggermente negativa è la misurazione del sonno, ma anche sul precedente orologio era poco precisa. Se si rimane sdraiati a letto da svegli, continua a percepire sonno, soprattutto se i battiti rimangono regolari e bassi. Ottimo prodotto che mi sento di consigliare. Il prezzo non è basso, ma confrontato a quelli che permettono di fare ecg e controlli sulla salute vari, risulta quasi "economico".

El sentimiento de no tener que cargar todos lo días es muy raro y bien recibido. Tiene las mismas características que uno smartwatch de última generación (ECG, sleep track, saturación de oxígeno) pero sin ser invasivo y de forma minimalista, lo que te ayuda a desconectarte un poco de la cadena que se ha vuelto un smartphone y una el diseño (pasa por completo desapercibido por Smart) es muy casual para combinar fácilmente con cualquier estilo. En los contras a veces tiene problemas con las notificaciones, pero he escuchado que ha mejorado bastante y no dudo que siga mejorando. Las manecillas en un par d ocasiones se dejaron de sincronizar, pero consultando la app del reloj se arregló en automatico sin problema. No veo el razón para no confiar que todos estos detalles se arreglaran en updates de firmware. ¡Muy recomendable!

EDIT TO ADD: A few weeks in, all the below still holds true, but I have just noticed the one missing feature I wish I'd known about before I bought: "Find my device". It's so obvious. Every smartwatch I ever owned had it. I didn't have to use it all the time, but whenever I did it was a lifesaver! I don't have a second phone (or person with phone) to call it, and even if I did it would be on silent. Having the ability to find it using the watch is a reassurance that makes SO much dofference and I can't believe I've lost it in the upgrade 😭 I'm genuinely wondering whether I've made a terrible mistake and need to jump back out of the Withings portfolio... _______ I'm a very early adopter of smart watches, one of the Kickstarter backers of the original Pebble in 2013. I've been frustrated by the way the market developed, prioritising fitness over style or smart notifications, and worst of all making it so that you have to charge the battery every night and/or cannot see the screen in bright sunlight. The iWatch has a lot to answer for, as does FitBit for buying out and ending Pebble! I used Pebble Rebble for a while but eventually my battery gave up and I was forced to look into alternatives. I went for a budget Amazfit which did everything I needed for about £60 but spontaneously combusted after about a year. I upgraded with a deal on an Amazfit GTS which was more attractive but failed to live up to its promise of a long battery life... a year or so later the battery had become excruciatingly slow to charge and only lasted 2-3 days. Fed up of constantly switching watches, I did some research and came up with a Withings Scanwatch. I understand that the focus of Scanwatch marketing is on its health and fitness features, particularly its strengths in heart monitoring, but it also boasts one of the longest battery lives in its peer group, has physical hands visible in Australian sunshine, and LOOK HOW PRETTY. I chose the dark blue with rose gold because it's just so stand-out gorgeous, and also because I've read that the rose gold on a white screen can lack contrast and affect visibility. I can confirm there's no contrast issue with the blue face - the hands are clearly visible. I also like how the 'digital screen' is very discreet when not in use - as per the photo, you really don't notice the black circle against the dark blue background, only the message when it's displayed. I had been concerned that the display screen would be too small and that I'd be frustrated by the 'scrolling' of messages, however this hasn't been a problem. The first thing to appear is the app symbol and the person's first name, so at a glance I can see "is this a WhatsApp from my Dad?" (important) or "an email from Amazon" (not important). If the message is important but I'm not yet in a position to pull my phone out, for example whilst walking in public, I can turn the button to control the message's speed and run it backwards or forwards in my own time. Perfect. The menu is easy to use too - straightforward up, down, select. Although I wasn't looking for health features, I have found myself checking SPO2 periodically because I suffer from Long Covid and can get a bit worn out during the day, which is often confirmed by low saturation levels. It's just as easy as using a fingertip device except that you're already wearing the watch. I am yet to successfully perform an ECG though - initial attempts were 'too noisy' and since then it's always been 'inconclusive'. Sleep tracking is similar to what I got used to with Amazfit - shows light sleep, deep sleep and interruptions. The recordings do seem to be more accurate though. The Withings companion app on Android is much easier to set up and use than any I've had before. I have set it up to pair with My Fitness Pal, which I'm not sure about yet, and it asked for Google Fit to be installed which is fine. I did set up a steps goal, and get a kick out of watching the small watch dial move round from 0% to 100% of goal throughout the day. Biggest surprise to me - after a week I have NOT developed a wrist rash from the silicon strap! This is a first, people. Normally I look like an escaped abductee with handcuff marks after about two days, and that's been true of every smartwatch I've owned. I've got used to having to switch the straps out, in fact I have an entire workshop drawer full of pins, buckles and spare straps made from 'safe' materials (I don't wear leather out of principle). But it seems that the material Withings uses is less reactive, so any change of strap will simply be out of style preference. Incidentially, this is an easy process - the watch uses 18mm watch pins, so you can buy any standard strap or bracelet that employs the same and swap it over. Overall I'm happy. I got a good deal on a 'used - very good' watch (if I hadn't been told, I'd have had no idea it wasn't brand new), which arrived very quickly and ticks all the boxes. More than that, it has a luxury feel to it and seems to be carefully designed and crafted, with neat little features like how the hands slide out of the way when you're using the menu. I'm impressed and sincerely hope that I can hold onto this one for a little longer! Promise to update if this opinion changes over time ;-)
