No, this item is plastic, not stainless.

Horrible to clean! top has deep nooks that are extremely hard to reach used bottle brush, pipe cleaner,sink sprayer. Need to buy a pressure washer?

Depends on what you are drinking. I drink mostly watery sports drinks/water, so just rinse it w soapy water and then also put it on top shelf in dishwasher. Most sports bottles other than simple spout types [like shaker bottles] have crannies that are hard to clean. A common brush (like a paint or basting brush) and some soapy water, then a blast of hot running water with your sink sprayer, might be the best you can do with this bottle.
