Review for 5A Medium Ash Brown. I finally found the perfect ash brown shade. It's beautifully cool-toned with no brassiness. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully cover my stubborn greys. :( Kinda just tints them. The formula also has a pretty strong chemical smell. On me, the color only lasts about three weeks before I feel like I need to reapply. I’ll probably keep using it for now since finding a true ash shade that isn’t brassy is so hard, but I do wish the grey coverage and longevity were better.

I have been using Medium Ash Brown for several years and always get consistent color.

I used 5A Medium Ash Brown. It’s exactly what I have been looking for! Not too red, not too dark. The conditioner it came with left my hair very silky. The smell of the dye was a bit intense at times if I was holding hair close to my face but tolerable. The formula is a thinner consistency than most but that made it easier to apply in my opinion. I will be using this color/ formula from now on! (I took pictures in natural daylight)
