Q: Is this really anti-inflammatory or just pain relief? These are two different functions and it only says pain relief on the bottle

I have Fibromyalgia and my worst Symptom is Severe Muscle Spasms, which I currently have to use a percussion massager to get any relief, but the end result is muscle soreness . My Mother-in-Law suggested I try Topricin, but she made sure I did not purchase the Restless Leg and Foot type of cream that she uses. I just returned from a 6 Hour drive on Vacation which typically tortures me, but I now have a Buick Enclave with Heated Seats for the back & I’ve found comfort from that during the trip, but not when we finish. So, with our return yesterday and after carrying in our luggage, my back Spasms were so severe from my Shoulder Blades down to my sciatic nerves and hips that I could not rest. My wife went to Walmart and picked up this exact product and gave it to me to use. I 1st put it on the 2 muscle spasms at the bottom of my shoulder blades on both sides of my back & I laid down for a few minutes and immediately felt the product go to work, with the tingling, to the point of reduced pain, to only notice how bad my sciatic nerve pain was. Then I got up again and applied the product to my sciatic nerves on both sides and laid down with the same good result. Except now my mid back down my sides was in severe pain, which I hadn’t noticed due to my other pain. Summary is that I ended up applying this product to 5 very painful locations and it relieved my Fibromyalgia muscle Spasm pain in each case until I woke back up about 4 hours later, but only had to reapply it to 2 areas. I then slept through the night. *I’m not certain why people give this product 1 Star for bizarre reasons, but I had to give it a 5 Star & would go higher because this product actually works for Fibromyalgia Hypertonicity and Hypersensitive Nerves. I am so thankful to find something that actually helps me that isn’t a drug.

Q: Can this be useful for post polio pain (leg muscles)

Well I'm just a patient and not qualified to answer that. I have 3 herniated disks with arthritis in my spine. They even went in and burnt the nerves in my back. No help. I've tried I believe every topical pain reliever on the market and I even take a little vicodin am and pm. Topricin has worked better then anything else for my horrendous sciatica. I just ordered 4 more jars. I'd say its worth a try. Best of luck.
