Rejuvenated some unhappy corals
I bought a couple of green star polp corals and whilst they were quarantined they began to grow what looked like diatoms over the mantle and they closed up. I bought this after reading a recommendation on one of the marine aquarist forums and it worked very well bring the corals back to health in a day.

Works Great!
Great did. I had bought a star polyp coral and I basically followed the dosing instructions. After I few minutes I saw bristle worms floating and trying to detach from the coral. I continued adding 4 to 5 more doses using the cap of the bottle and took my chance that coral would not get overdosed with the dip. I think around 15 more bristle worms came out! I really thought I had killed the coral due to putting more that what was recommended. However to my surprise the star polyp coral LIVES and is healthy as ever. I also did dip a long tentacle anemone and all was fine. You have to leave the coral in the dip for 30 minutes or longer though for the crawlers to die. I had an instance that I was in a hurry and did not do the recommended dip duration, a bristle worm survived but good thing I caught it early and was able to pull it our of the rock.I do not think there is a reef system that is pest free. However, at least this is better than just blindly adding corals to your system.
