The med setting on my atmor inline 800 240 volt 13kw don't engage

not sure why the middle setting won't work when the other settings will work, probably has something to do with the amps going into the system, it would set it off as the amp are either too low or too high..

Can this unit be installed as a booster for a faucet far away from the current hot water tank? Will it shut off when the supply water is hot?

No, This unit turns on when a faucet is opened, pressure drop, not water temp. You need a small point of use heater for your remote sink.

I installed this heater on Friday, today is Wednesday and this morning it is not working. how do i get this replaced. It has a dedicated 30amp breaker

Return it and buy a different brand. I bought it but never installed it just returned for one with metal internal parts because my plumber saw it and said it was too cheaply made it won’t last. I was lucky.
