What works best with this reel braid or Mano and what lb for the 50 model

Hi there I have 50 pound boss braid on the 50 reel. I had recently purchased abu garcia 6500 c3 and 6600 c4 aswell. I must say the piscifun impressed me the most. It's also the first time that I have braid on a round baitcasting reel and am very impressed with the casting there off as I was very scared for overwinds. But it really casts well with the braid. As I want to target big catfish I am definitely looking at changing the 18 pound mono Double X extreme abrasion line on my abu ' to braid but will first see if the 18 pounds will suffice.

What’s the max braided line i can put on my 60? Target fish is alligator gar and cats.

With the small diameter that some braided lines are, you could put 50-60 lb. test and that should hold any big cat or gar that you hook up with. I personally use 40 lb. test on my reels and that will hold big cats if you let your drag work for you if needed. Hope this helps.
