My son loved all the books in this set. I strongly recommend these books for any young kid who is into maps or has a lot of questions about different countries! We have every book in this series, including a couple that are not in this set, and they're all great! The author really has a gift for getting a whole lot of information, some of it fairly sophisticated, into a very short, entertaining book that can be read (more or less) by very early readers. I don't know how the authors of these Ready to Read non-fiction books do it, but they have TREMENDOUS talent.

wonderful collection about children for children. my 8 year old likes to ready it by herself, but also enjoys them as a bed time stories. quiet a few Americanisms, but still a very education and enjoyable read. each country follows the same plan: introducing the child, main character, and its family. what the parents do. then the child goes to school, learns different subjects, eg. history, during the lesson we find out more about the county's history. after school, gets back home, has a typical meal. ends with a question: would you like to visit this country?

My 7 year old daughter LOVES these books! Perfect for her reading level.. she carries these around every she goes🥰 Very educational and she loves learning about how other kids live in different countries
