As others have pointed out, this is a very fine powder that comes in one of those foil pouches. Instead of tinkering with the package every day, I just poured it all into a small glass jar. Small—the apx $25 pouch is much smaller than I’d envisioned. However, the suggested dose is only 1/16 of a teaspoon, which should result in this tiny package lasting for awhile. However, as others mentioned, if you want to measure accurately, you’ll need the 1/16 teaspoon which does not come with this supplement (it should!) and which is not a standard measuring spoon, so you’ll have to order it separately. Finally—the hyaluronic supplement powder actually does have a distinct taste (at least to me) which is not unpleasant, but is not pleasant either. It did dissolve in a bit of water; I let it sit for a few minutes, then down the hatch it went. I’ll update the stars if I notice any positive physical changes.

This Hyaluronic Acid powder has been such a boon to my skin that I have been sharing it with friends younger and older than I. I am 68 and don't like the saggy looking skin that comes with age. I mix Hyaluronic Acid powder 2 to 1 with vitamin c powder in a small spice shaker. I plan to add DMAE to the mix. Two tablespoons dry will last for months! I keep a mixture of oil...most lately argan oil, but any edible oil should work...and aloe vera in a small opaque pump bottle. To use, pump about 1/2 tsp into palm and shake a small amount of the mixed powders on top. Then moisten the other palm with water, rub hands together vigorously and apply to face, neck, and chest. If some of the mixture clumps up in palms just remoisten them, rub together and apply to arms and backs of hands. Clumps or dry spots on face or anywhere else are smoothed out with a bit more water. Too much can feel tight and dry, but it is very hydrophilic and easy to fix. The whole process takes less than a minute. I know this process may sound haphazard and unscientific but it works well for me. The age spots on the backs of my hands have faded away, skin feels plumper and softer and I am happy. It is fun to see how much firmer my upper arms look in the mirrors at Body Pump weight lifting class. I have now just started to take Hyaluronic Acid powder as an oral supplement because arthritis in my thumbs is beginning to worry me more. Also, I hurt my knee in a body combat class at the gym months ago and it is still giving me fits so I now have general joint worries. It does take time for Hyaluronic Acid powder to integrate into the cold water, but once mixed it has virtually no flavor and can easily be added to any drink or moist food and will not be detected. You can even just take a spoonful plain.
