Window Film Privacy for Glass Windows, White Frosted, 44.5x200cm

I got this for privacy in an upstairs office, and I've just installed it 4 times on 1 main window. It's not the easiest thing to get perfect, but as you go, you get better, and the overall effect is excellent! My own minor issue is that it's a little too dark on the inside. The window is north-facing, and even on a fully sunny day, the room is darker. However, after a quick and easy install, I checked from the outside, and it is really, really hard to see in; I'm so pleased. It took me about 20 minutes to fit all 4 areas in 1 window. The two things I learnt when putting them in are: 1. use the straight edges, so you only have to cut two sides to a window, not four, and 2. practise when you do have to cut around the edges; it's really fiddly.

Great product, hides the horrible view but still lets light in. Once you work out what you are doing, it is so easy to install. Lots of water, measure properly and a squeegee are key. It is tougher than we thought so easier to install because of that. We thought we'd try this as a temporary solution to see if we liked the look before getting it done professionally but it looks great and unless it deteriorates, there is no reason to get a professional job.

Seems like a good product and quite easy to install once you read the instructions properly (spent ages trying to get the backing peel off whilst wondering what the two little arrow stickers were for 🙄) The picture of the finish wasn’t too accurate though as the pattern on our one was a lot more coarse than it looked online. We’ll need to buy another one now but happy enough to go with the same brand as the quality seems good

I have mixed feelings about this window film. On the positive side, it does what it's supposed to do and it's a cheap way to help protect your house from overheating on sunny days. It reflects sun's rays, keeps the house cooler and works a bit like sunglasses for your windows. You can still see outside, but people outside can't see in because the windows take on a mirror-like appearance. However, it's not a perfect solution. The film starts to peel off over time and doesn't stay in place forever. It's more of a temporary option to use during the heatwave and if you're lucky it might last a month or so before needing to be removed or replaced. Applying it can also be a bit of a hassle. You need to use water during installation and it's important to be careful because small pockets of trapped water can remain under the film. These can leave marks that may still be visible on the glass after the film is removed. Getting rid of those stains can be tricky.

Putting up window cling is a 2-person job. Unfortunately, I'm one person and don't have any help. This roll of slightly stiffer, opaque cling is the first I've ever been able to get placed nicely, get the bubbles out, smooth the corners - and all with pretty minimal effort. It promises to do a great job of blocking out the worst of the heatwave, too. It'll reflect sunlight without actually making the neighbours opposite endure the glare from a one-sided mirror finish. Because it's slightly more rigid than many cling finishes, it looks quite smart once it's in place - from the inside like I had a window replaced with a PVC panel. From the outside, it's somehow less obvious than the clear, privacy-pattern cling I had in place before this one. I need more to keep the house cool this winter, and won't dream of buying a different one. For blackout window cling, this product is "it".

Very good, instructions hard to follow but we did it works great, u no if it on wrong way it peels off 😂 does what it says

This product is very good but not any good at night. You still need to pull curtains because it becomes see-through at night when there’s a light on which I was not happy about but it is very good for daytime use like if you want to see if anybody’s coming to the house and you don’t want them to know about you.

The Lifetree Frosted Window Film Privacy is marketed as an opaque window film designed to provide privacy for glass windows. However, after testing this product, I found that it doesn't do a great job at providing the level of privacy that it promises. Pros: - The frosted film does provide a level of privacy, but it's not as opaque as other competing products on the market. Cons: - The film is not as opaque as it claims to be, allowing people to still see through the window. - The installation process is more difficult compared to other window films, which could be a disadvantage for some users. - The film doesn't stick well to the window and can peel off easily, making it an unreliable choice for long-term use. - The product is more expensive compared to other window films that provide better privacy protection. Overall, the Lifetree Frosted Window Film Privacy is not the best choice for anyone looking for a window film to provide privacy protection. While it does provide some level of privacy, it's not as opaque as other competing products on the market. Additionally, the installation process is more difficult, and the film doesn't stick well to the window, making it an unreliable choice for long-term use. Finally, the product is more expensive compared to other window films that provide better privacy protection. If you're looking for a reliable and effective window film for privacy protection, it's best to consider other options on the market.
