what wire gauge are these?

Good question. It is stranded wire that by my calipers is 3 mm diameter with the insulation intact. I have not cut one open to get the wire diameter itself and even then the gauge would depend on the number of strands and their individual diameters. This really should be in the description of the product. The 4 mm is referring to the bore of the plug/socket.

Nec shows only 6a load for an 18 ga wire. using air to cool a lead is only a pg&e allowed fire hazard?
