Burpee Organic All Purpose Granular Plant Food - 4lbs

One of my purple heart plants was a first year plant. It did great all winter long, and I forgot to bring it in at the end of winter when the temps dropped below freeze. It killed the plant back but I knew it would return when it warmed up. It finally came back and was stunted for several months. It's mother plant had greatly recovered and filled the entire pit again, in no time. But this plant was being stubborn and seemed to not want to grow bigger than 5 inches. I finally decided to get some organic fertilizer and I choose burpee granular fertilizer. Glad I choose to try it. It took hardly any time at all and the plant is back to it's normal expected growth when contained in a pot. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely be making burpee organic fertilizer my permanent go to for general fertilizing needs. Excellent product, great size and definite value. Though I would like to throw out the idea of maybe packaging it in a cardboard box or a biodegradable plastic in the future, as there is really no point in creating excess plastic garbage considering the product is just dry granules. Please consider swapping to a more mindful and earth friendly packaging

It’s working great for me. Smells fishy but the smell dissipates quickly once you water it. It breaks down quickly too, which is nice for a granular fertilizer. Plants seem to like it. No drastic results, but keeps them content. Mix it into the soil if you can, otherwise just top dress the soil with it and water it in. I use an organic liquid fertilizer as well for instant nutrients as needed.

These sprouted for me in my greenhouse on a 70 degree warming mat in like 13 days!!!!!!!!!!! Got them about 8 inches high now in two months. Excited to see if the live and can thrive in the Pacific NW

Good products. Lovely addition to my fertilizers.

These were okay ..even though organic it was still too much for young seedlings. Maybe best for mature plants instead to ensure plant health.
