Are there different hatchimals in each egg carton or do all the egg cartons have the same hatchimals?

The eggs were identical! Very frustrating since I bought two sets for one child. Would have returned them but they were both open

Is the carton large enough to fit real eggs?

It's a little smaller than the size of a "real egg" carton but it's a heavy/thick plastic and can use after you hatch them to store them in. Great way to keep up with them as it latches secure also.
