These were a gimmick my son had to have. They aren't any more effective than anything else. It appeared to be old stock, because these aren't advertised anymore or even produced to my knowledge.

Great little kit and a real fish catcher that slays all the freshwater game fish I tried it on. Havenโt used it in saltwater yet, but it should work well there as well. Every fishing tackle box should have this kit in it.
