Did research and cheapest choices seem to not cut well, pulls hairs. This was cheapest with best value. In using it, it cut well, did not pull hairs, and for the price, I can imagine no better choice for the limited use I wanted this for. namely beard and infrequent hair. Has all the attachments needed for full use as hair cutting device.

Indestructible.
Wahl makes good clippers. That's all there is to it. They've been the same for as long as I can remember and are essentially indestructible. The only reason to get a new one is when I pass the old one down to one of the kids, then they pass theirs on to the dogs. Actually, I got these after we moved because I couldn't find mine....So now we've got two for me. We still have a clipper from the 70's in the garage that my grandparents used on their dogs.

Pretty good
Works very well as comes with a case to store all the clipper sizes and scissors. Very durable and strong, gets the job done. My only comment would be that it is really oily in the sense that even if you place just a tiny drop, it makes a big mess. That makes it a bit harder to clean. It also heats up pretty quick when using so keep that in mind. It doesn’t become hot to touch but it did come as a bit of a surprise. Overall, it gets the job done and suits my needs.
