Not good at all

I cannot praise this product enough. I recently had a major spill where a significant amount of whiskey drenched my bed, soaking through the top cotton mattress and deep into the memory foam layer underneath. Anyone with a memory foam bed knows that once a liquid—especially something with a pungent, lingering scent like whiskey—gets into those pores, it’s usually game over. I was already looking up the cost of a replacement mattress, as none of the home remedies such as vinegar treatment or baking soda worked, so it convinced the smell would be permanent. I decided to try the HG Mattress Odor Remover as a last-ditch effort, and the results were incredible. After just one thorough application, the strong, sharp smell of alcohol was completely neutralized. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just cover the scent with a flowery fragrance; it actually breaks down the odor at the source. It penetrated deep enough to reach the memory foam and worked its magic perfectly. The cotton surface looks great, there’s no leftover residue, and my room finally smells fresh again. If you’re dealing with a tough spill or a "lost cause" mattress, buy this immediately. It saved me hundreds of rupees.

Firstly I bought from Amazon a Von Haus UV mattress , vacuum cleaner. £59. Works well. |So as to get rid of all dust etc. Bought two bottles of HG Mattress Odour Remover. One for each bed, singles. I have trundle beds. These are good quality mattresses not stained but smelt musty as not being used much. Sprayed sides and front and back of each mattress and let dry. Then did a second coating, and let dry. Then aired beds for two days. Smell gone fab. I am impressed. This product does not mask the smell but eliminates due to the ingredients enzymes and microbes, Would recommend.

My foam mattress had been unbearably stinking for a month after my toddler had urinated during fever. This made in Europe product, has removed the source of the odor within few hours. The mattress will stink even more in those few hours as the enzyme breaks down the urea - so keep the area ventilated and maybe have the fan running. So worth the price. Make sure to use it liberally if the damage has seeped into many layers - I have emptied mine.

We have a 5 year old good quality mattress which was beginning to smell stale in spite of vacuuming. Bought this and sprayed the mattress after stripping the bed and vacuuming it. Very effective, it doesn’t have a strong scent or disinfectant smell, very subtle. It really neutralised the stale smell. I recommend it for mattresses Tried using it on stale dog blankets-didn’t work well, but it is not made for that, it did help a bit. Definitely recommend it for the bed though

I've used this a few times, I haven't noticed a huge difference in it removing odours. It's easy to use, but has an unusual smell.
