This is an excellent product. I use it because I have very fine hair. This strengthens hair without adding weight. It makes fine hair and especially thinning hair stronger and it lets the hair have the appearance of more volume and structure. This product has been around since forever. Has been improved over time but it even started out amazing. I would use this before and or after any chemical treatment. Another thing it does. Soak your nails in it. Our hair and nails are structurally different but made of about the same. It will strengthen your nails without causing brittle nails. Men really should use this product more. As we loose hair. Each hair has fewer and fewer hairs to help support a desired shape. This really helps with the strength, volume and shine. Without adding weight. When hair thins eventually it collapses. Not enough strength and hair to hold a style. If you're not quite ready for a buzz cut. Give this a try. It really does make the hair look and feel better. It's not specifically formulated for thin hair but if you use this product. It's amazing and often only limited by the user. I can't think of a single time that stronger shiny hair is bad. It does cause thin hair to feel silky soft and some men may be concerned there hair is too soft. Your fine. Just use hair gel. I see a lot of people that need this.

Amazing product, one of my top weapons for sustained hair health and body, does what it says and penetrates to the cortex. I have been using this product for several years and have yet to find anything better. However, it is important to understand that this is not a conditioner, it is a reconstruction product. I sometimes see negative reviews of this product on various sites, but if one reads the "bad" review comments it is usually b/c the people don't quite understand the purpose of the product or use it incorrectly. Use per the instructions for the best results, more is not better and it is definitely not a leave-in. Shampoo then wring out excess water from hair and spray on (5-10 pumps depending on length and thickness of hair) and gently massage through with fingers, concentrating on the ends and middle. Do not use a comb. Leave in about 5 minutes as the instructions specify, no longer than 10 and rinse very well, then follow up with your usual cream type conditioner or moisturizing type leave-in. Over time if you stick with this it will replenish the cortex of your hair strands with protein and keep it strong and healthy. Note that overuse of even the best quality protein reconstruction products such as this one can have the opposite intended effect and can make the hair brittle so follow instructions, rinse well, and follow with a cream type or good moisturizing leave in conditioner. I use about only once every 7-14 days or so and it keeps my fine textured color-treated and permed hair smooth and healthy. It's a 10 or the CHI silk infusion leave-in brands are both great afterwards for moisture and gives that slip that makes hair easy to comb through without breakage but doesn't weigh it down. Great for post-perm or post-color repair. If perm, give it about 5-7 days or so. Post-color can be used after the first shampoo. Only con is the bottle is poorly designed and hard to grip and spray if your hand is wet. Dry off your hand first before applying or decant in a more ergonomically designed spray bottle, then no problem. Don't expect magical results after the first use, but after a few uses it will gradually restore hair texture and health. Regular long-term use is the best.

Repairs my hair so well

I have used this product previously, under a slightly different name. I have only tried it a couple times, and I think it's OK It was purchased to give my fine, limp hair a little body protein. It is somewhat effective.

My hair dresser suggested I use this Extreme CAT after every hair color treatment. I shampoo out the color and skip conditioner. Finish my showering. Towel out the hair and spray on the Extreme CAT. Put on a plastic wrap and cover with a towel to hold in the body heat for 30 minutes. Rinse out and conditioner next for 30 minutes wrapped in plastic and towel again. My hair comes out soft and no sign of damage from the coloring.

Washed with Redkin shampoo, towel dried, sprayed in/left 15 mins, then washed out and conditioned with Redkin followed by anti snap spray & styling/heat protection lotion … then 2 pumps of Moroccan Argon Oil.
