Clairol Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 4 Dark Brown Hair Color, Pack of 1

I really liked this hair color - lasts long and covers all your greys in one application. It's softer than most other colors I've used. Although the hair felt hard/ thick after 2 weeks, they gave a special conditioner in the box for that. I'm happy it fully covered all my greys in one box, and I had a lot of greys to cover. I left it on a bit longer than 45 minutes and it stained the top of my forehead. So if you have fewer greys, avoid keeping it for more than 30 minutes.

First time trying this product after researching plant based and least damaging hair dye. The dark brown variant covered my greying roots blending nicely with my previous colour. Followed the instructions carefully and timely especially my hair has become brittle due to previous dyeing and chemical treatments. No itch or allergic reaction. The treatment included which I applied only to the coloured roots left my hair soft. The tube last me quite a few washes. Highly recommended. Im about to repurchase to replenish my supply. Thanks 😊

The hair colour was good and stayed almost 2 weeks with stubborn whites,so I pretty much likd it and the gradually as new roots come you need to do root touch up. One thing the colour is ok pretty darker side so as I ordered 4 for brown shade ,it almost gave me blackish shade quite dark.Next time I will probably try lighter

I’ve been using this for years. Last about 4 to 5 weeks. But a good way to either do it yourself or get you between more expensive hair colors with a professional. I like that it’s a gradual washout so that you don’t have a hard line at your part.

The quality of this product is great! It effectively covered my roots and grays and left my hair feeling soft after styling. My only complaint is the extremely dark color deposit. I purchased the dark brown color thinking it would be the most natural looking and ended up with black hair. I suggest going 1-2 shades lighter if looking to achieve a natural dark brown color.

The 4 dark brown shade is beautiful and does a great job covering gray hair. I like that the color coats the outside of the hair rather than penetrating the hair shaft, making it a gentler option. The ammonia-free formula is another big plus. It isn’t harsh on my hair and provides effective gray coverage while helping maintain my hair’s overall health.
