Harry N. Abrams Supergirl: Age of Atlantis: (Supergirl Book 1) : Whittemore, Jo: desertcart.ae: Books Review: DC Comics and Warner Brothers teamed up to create a couple of new superhero novels i featuring Supergirl and the Flash, from the CW Network TV show versions.I thoroughly enjoyed the Supergirl novel, "Supergirl: Age of Atlantis." The writer, Jo Whittemore did a fantastic job bringing the TV show characters to the novel and allowing the reader (and fan of the show) to visualize all of them as if they were watching in on television. That's the mark of a good writer, and this was a really, really enjoyable book and a GREAT GIFT for anyone who is a fan of the show. 5 out of 5 stars! Review: This 1st of 3 novels from childrens author Jo Whittemore is a welcome addition too the series, aimed at younger teen readers and am sure adults will enjoy them too, these books take place in the DC-CW universe and are presented in hardcover, also available in this series is the flash vol 1-3 both series will be published intermittently thoughout the year

Per chi ama il personaggio di Supergirl ,non può non comprare un libro dedicato a lei ... la trama descritta in maniera accattivante ,è una lettura facile quindi lo consiglio per chi vuole mantenere attivo il proprio inglese .

I bought this book as I thoroughly enjoyed the TV series, which I watched based on the advice of a young girl. I am a “getting older” man and rather “artsy,” but I was looking for something more fun and positive. I was tired of all the darkly pessimistic popular culture (to say nothing of the news!) and cynicism of fine art. After the suggestion, I read a professional review of the show which said it “ditches cynicism for heart.” That it truly does! And I have read a few art historical fiction books for young adults and younger (I am an art historian and artist) and was very pleased. I wanted in Supergirl to see what a talented author could do in such a genre and age group, even though it is not mine. Jo Whittemore did wonderfully! Congratulations. Tight plotting, great characterization, great narrative flow. She captured to positive heart of the series to a “t.” I can greatly recommend it to the target age groups, bit also to others. My compliments Ms Wittemore.

Very enjoyable story. All the character moments were so good. Needed a bit more Sanvers but we got plenty of Karamel moments. The story was nice and I loved how it tied in to the King of Atlantis (the one and only). I really could imagine Melissa Benoist and team speaking these dialogues and doing these stunts in the show.
