Ecstatic with this item's performance. This cream brought out the original glow for my polished, open-pore, and stained wood surfaces. I have used it on many very expensive surfaces, and I cannot see any of the issues you hear with other items using silicones or sealants. This was the reason I sought out this type of item, and I am not disappointed in any way. I had some polished wood items under some of my A/V gear, and the underside of my speakers, which had been covered in dust for a long time and wouldn't come clean with soap/water, a microfiber cloth, etc., but this product removed that dust with gentle application and massaging with a microfiber cloth. Highly reccomended!

I have used the Guardsman polish spray for a long time and it has worked pretty well at cleaning and polishing my wood furniture. I decided to try the cream as I felt this would be a better value and last longer than the aerosol spray. I personally decided to go with a purchase direct from Amazon as opposed to the cheaper 2 pack being sold by 3rd party vendors as I felt I could not trust those unknown vendors to sell me an authentic Guardsman product, even though I paid a bit more per bottle. I used this on some dark wood office furniture by putting on a soft cloth and rubbing into the wood. It cleans well and leaves a nice shine without streaking or a film or any buildup. The key I have found to keep from getting a haze is to use a small amount on the cloth at a time and then rubbing in thoroughly and then taking a dry soft cloth to wipe any excess. That seemed to work well for me without the issues that others have described. If I have any complaint, I do think this could be a bit better priced. 4 spray

I am actually 3rd generation furniture refinisher, restorer, repairer. I have use probably hundreds of gallons of Guardsman cream polish. To clean,dust, and polish furniture we worked on. We even gave a bottle as a gift to customers that we had done major refinishing for. It leaves the finish protected from drying out. Leaves it clean and fresh with a wonderful lusture. The proper way to use it. In a household setting. Take a clean cloth dusting towel. Moistion the towel with water. Put a small dollop of the polish on the towel. Work the polish into the cloth. Use that to dust with. As the towel gets dirty. Rinse it out and repeat. That alone will leave the finish with a lusture that's really eye catching. Years ago, Guardsman manufactured and sold finishing supplies to the furniture industry. We used them in our shop and sold the their polish to the public. Encourage our customers to use it. There are so many terrible products on the market. That actually build up over many applications. Leaving a sticky, gummy residue. This residue ( over time ) actually dissolves the finish. Especially on pieces that get handled in every day use. Like the finished arms of wooded chair. It also has a nice pleasant fragrance. I would add. If you have major cleaning to do. A very dirty piece that has maybe been in storage, etc. I would first clean it with Murphy's oil soap. Diluted per instructions on the bottle. Then go over it with Guardsman as I've stated above.

Good product. Used for years! A little goes a long way on polished surfaces.

I highly recommend Guardsman clean and polish on wood furniture. It goes on furniture smooth and is easy to apply and leaves a beautiful soft gleam on the surfaces. It has a very pleasant scent. Unlike smelly lemons. BEST of all it doesn’t build up either like the familiar lemon goopy sprays. What I’ve also been noticing is that even though I don’t dust weekly (honestly monthly sometimes, too)…is that the finish doesn’t reflect the dust. You literally have to run your finger across the surface to see the dust.

Great furniture polish. Gives wood a beautiful shine while it moisturizes it. Have used Gardsman Clean & Polish - cream for many years and would not use anything else. Furniture is 50 years old and looks brand new.

I've been using this product for about 10 years and im only on my second bottle. It cleans and shines wood and does not leave behind a residue. It has kept my dining room table looking like new. Can't be without it.

Double taxes, came from US and paid extra 16 euros. The product itself is good but not worth the price.
