I am an old man now and ear and nose hairs grow at supersonic speed. This tool is great for the job of ridding the area of these unwanted hairs, also very easy to clean.

My 3rd piece, all kept spoiling and unable to turn on after few months of usage. Lousy

I have to admit that my nose hairs can get pretty long and disgusting in short order, so I needed a solution to manage their growth. This product does the job. Although I've only had it a very short time, I instantly appreciated the features and benefits of the device. First, it doesn't hurt at all by cutting the hairs. This was my greatest fear; that the hairs would be tugged and the action painful. Such is not the case. Second. the tip can access areas of your nose that are not accessible with scissors because of the contortions one has to go through to position a pair of scissors. In any case, the cleanup job was quick, painless and complete. I instantly felt an ability to breathe easier, for two reasons. The first was an increased area to get air in and second no nasty buggers (yeah, gross again). As for ear hairs, it also makes short order of those. All in all I'm very satisfied with the quality of cut, price, speed of trimming and versatility. I'd recommend this to any man who wants to keep a trim look to their face. Nose and ear hairs are noticed by women and keeping them in control only benefits you. Hmm, wonder if this thing does eye brows? Shipping from Amazon was quick and the unit was easy to setup. Popped in a AA battery and was good to go. Tried cleaning the unit after using it in running water and worked as advertised. So far, no negative feedback to offer. But it's been a short while since purchasing it so I may change my mind in the future (like battery life, blade life, etc.) Update: I've had the unit a couple of months now and it still performs well. I did have a small problem with its operation but the fix was easy. At some point, the unit refused to work. Turning on the switch didin't start the motor. I thought it had broken. But I disassembled the nose of the trimmer and thoroughly rinsed the blade and shroud . The blade had become stuck from debris and wouldn't rotate. Once I reassembled the unit, it functioned as normal. Just a tip to periodically disassemble and clean the unit for optimum performance and life.
