Is this a good toy for a 5 yr old?

Yes, a great game for the entire family. My niece, a teacher uses in her 1st grade class on a rainy day. I purchased for a 2 and 4 year old and they got such a kick that Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa all played the game.

Idk. But when mine arrived even though I had a battery in it it did not work. I just had to run to Walmart and buy my son one that I tried out in the store that actually worked.
