These are fabulous. My only recommendation is that you don’t leave them on the pot handles. They warm up themselves. I use them for my ceramic coated cast iron pots and pans. The fit on the handles well and make it easier to move the pots without putting oven mits on.

So, I bought pots with detachable handle so they'd take less space in my van. Problem is, those pots say the handle shouldn't be left on while cooking and sometimes I need to shift them back to center on the burner or hold them when I stir. These make that easy. They're like little pot holders and serve their non-standard use application well.

Great for more than just dutch ovens! I bought these as holders for Dutch oven and cast iron pans. However, I've been using them for whatever is hot where i need a precise hand grip. I have been putting them on the pot lid handles, and i used it to grip a metal bowl used to melt chocolate. It was a surprisingly good buy.

It work fine to use to move the pot to different location. Do not leave it on the pot handles for more than a few minutes while cooking or else it will get hard. Not recommend to use on heavy duty pan or pot.

Keeps hands safe from hot handles.

Nice idea but they don't clamp shut so are extremely loose and slip sideways or falls off the handles almost instantly - making it too easy to burn your fingers - the very thing they were made to protect. Would be ideal if the opening closed completely so they would stay on.

My husband cooks with our heavy cast iron Lodge frypans, which get very hot as the entire frypan is made from cast iron, including the handles. He is very happy with these silicone handle covers - essential for preventing burns. I chose red so they are easy to spot!
