Does this Touchpad work with Linux Mint 15?

I bought the 504 and it worked in the Ubuntu 18.04 login window but did not work with the Gnome window manager after login. This pointed to a driver issue in Gnome so I switched to the KDE window manager and it works great.

Can this be used for a signature?

No, not really. Consider it just like a touch pad on a laptop. It is used for pointing.

Does this support vertical and horizontal edge scrolling?

The device support 2 finger scrolling.

Will this work with a samsung galaxy tab e 9.6"?

If the tablet support HID (Human Interface Device), then it will work. You can easily test it with a normal USB keyboard to see if it is working. If it is working, then this touchpad will work on it too. If not, the touchpad won't work on the device
