I love this eyeliner. I have very sensitive eyes, so many products cause burning or watering, but this one is super gentle and doesn't trigger any allergic reactions. The "All-Day Grey" shade is gorgeous; it’s a rich, elegant gray that defines the eyes without looking as harsh as traditional black. Its gel texture is very creamy and sets incredibly fast. It stays put perfectly all day long and is completely waterproof. It has become my favorite everyday eyeliner! I recommend it 100%.

This eyeliner goes on smooth and says all day. I have been wearing it for 2 years. Also it doesn't bother my eyes where other products did.

The color was just what I was looking for. It was easy to use, creamy, easy to sharpen, although not a point, but rounded. It stays on through the day. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 as the last time I sharpened it, the crayon part fell out. I stil have 1/2 of the pencil left. I tried reinserting it, but it just does not work right. I threw it out and will start over.

Looking for an eyeliner that scores "in the green" on EWG's Skin Deep Database and found this brand Almay All-Day Intense Gel Eyeliner. I have super-sensitive eyes and will have an allergic reaction to most eye make-up but have never had a problem with Almay eyeshadows or liners. Love the texture, color and staying power. It does smudge a bit on the lower lid but once the edges are cleaned up, it stays put all day without further smudging. It does require a sharpener. Sharpens easily with Revlon's sharpener for all pencils (plastic/wood). "140 Deep Chestnut"=dark brown (but not too dark)

I love the way it applies and looks. There is, however a major flaw. The product slides out of the pencil. I have purchased several of these over the past couple of years and will probably continue to buy it because of how easy it is to apply on older eyelids. I’ve tried different sharpeners. I’m currently using the Revlon sharpener. It’s always the same thing. The “lead” slides out of the pencil. (See pics). I’ve had to finagle the product back into the pencil, or I’d be wasting it. I wish they would address this problem.

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. What I got is not the product in the amazon picture. My liner crayon came in a plastic tube with no way to advance the crayon. Furthermore, when I put the cap on the back of the liner to hold it, and then took it off again, it took the end piece off with it. Now the end piece is lodged in the cab and I can't even put the cap back on! It's not possible to sharpen this liner because it would require sharpening a plastic tube, and then the very soft crayon gel would mush in the attempt. I have no idea what's going on here except that maybe this company made a mistake and produced a bunch of lemons that can't be sharpened and then is just selling them off to suckers. At $7 + some change, it's too cheap to try to get a refund, so just listen to my warning. I saw another warning of the same thing. And actually, if I DID get the kind that could be sharpened, I can't imagine how sharpening would not rip off the very soft crayon material. The only reason I got this liner over the one I love from Palladio is that this one got a EWG certification and my dark brown Palladio liner is rated at a green # 2... Still very good for toxicity, but not as good as EWG certified. Going back to my favorite Palladio eyeliner. That one can be advanced by twisting the end, it's soft and creamy, and works wonderfully well. Buyer beware on this one!

I got the gray and purple and brown. There is a wide variety of quality between them. Purples are hard to formulate, and it shows in this pencil. Dry, skippy, patchy, fades a bit. Can I make it work? Yeah, I guess, but I don't reach for it because of those issues. The gray is... fine. It has sparkles in it, which surprised me. The glitter isn't big, but it's there, and that sort of limits the use of this pencil. I don't reach for it as often as I would if the gray was a lovely, creamy textured matte. It is none of those things. But. BUT!! The brown is. It is perfection in a pencil. Long wearing, doesn't transfer on my hooded eyes, is creamy, a joy to apply, dark enough, soft matte, pigmented, doesn't skip, tug, or go patchy. The gray and purple are... ok, I guess. If you have other pencils that you like in those colors, you probably won't like these any better. But THE BROWN! Run, don't walk. You need, NEED the brown in your life. I don't even use brown eyeliner, or I didn't. Now, I use it everyday. If I need it to be a little darker, I'll use a bit of black shadow to tint the line. BUY THE BROWN!!!
