This is just what I needed to stimulate me and get me thinking about the law before I start studying law this autumn.Law Professor Ward Farnsworth realised that there isn’t as much emphasis in law schools on teaching processes for thinking about and analysing legal matters as there should be. He attempts to address that balance with this fantastic book.

Easy to read and really useful.

A very quick overview of a lot of ideas and ways to think about application of the law. I read it the summer before starting law school. Is helpful to get you in the right frame of mind for answering/understanding different legal questions. The sections on Jurisprudence and Psychology were particularly impressive.
